OSLO, Norway (AP) American actress Sarah Jessica Parker praised the EU on Tuesday for winning the Nobel Peace Prize for pacifying Europe and uniting its different cultures after World War II, and she said the bloc should serve as an example to the United States, given the divisions its recent elections have brought to the surface. Parker said that while it might be controversial to have awarded the 27-nation EU the prestigious award as it struggles with a financial crisis that is causing hardship to many, it is "a terrific blueprint for us," and one the U.S. should learn from.

She probably wouldn’t know any history.
She went to several “show biz” type high schools.
BTW I’m sure she has her accountants figure her income taxes on her $30 mil / yr salary WITHOUT the Bush tax cuts, right?
I cannot tell the difference. Sorry.
EU pronounced exactly as it is spelled!
For Horse-face, it’ is EEUUUUUUU!
Turn the horse around and you have a graphic IQ comparison.
If stupidity was a crime she would be on death row.
Celebutards are so funny.
Did you catch the one about Ashley Judd?
In the sense that the EU is made up of sovereign nations that can actual leave or get kicked out?
Then she would be right.
Like we really need celebutards who make trash like “Sluts in the City” giving advice to kids
I’m starting to doubt if they can leave. The EU is looking more and more like the Hotel California. I wouldn’t be surprised if they occupied a country by force if it tried to leave. All in the interest of “peace and stability”, of course.
Which photo is Parker?
She's in Oslo to host some kind of Nobel Prize concert in honor of the EU -- I know, I know, how did they pick her of all people to host? SJP doesn't really give much prestige to either the EU or the Nobel Prize -- and somebody asks her what she thinks of the EU.
She's not going to say it's horrible and should be dismantled. She's going to praise it somehow, and since she's no political scientist or historian, that's what she came up with. Much of the time when some actor or actress says something silly it's more a matter of being put on the spot and asked to give opinions about things that they have never really thought out.
FWIW, Norway isn't actually a member of the EU. So I suspect the whole celebration is an "It's fine for you guys, but on the whole we'd rather not" thing -- or maybe the Nobel committee really wishes Norway was part of the European Union.
Someone should tweet that to this twit.
Good teeth. Little long in the face. Gaunt eyes. Some signs of skin infections. Naaaaaaay... She’s been rode hard and put away wet.
The one on the right looks fine. I’m sure it would be more loyal too. It knows where it’s next meal is coming from.
The one on the left will sell us out without a second thought.
If that’s another way of saying she’s gone around the bend, I agree.
There is nothing the US can learn from Europe in matters concerning government. There is nothing anyone can learn from a horsefaced skank ho either.
Why the long face, Sarah?
Bunch of idiots on here insist on attacking the externals. Grow up, will you? It’s making you look like fools. Yeah, debate all day long about HER stupid comments but leave her looks alone. (quick, hover over my screen name so you can call out a troll...oh wait).
