She has become a hit on the Today Show with her warm on-air presence, but Jenna Bush Hager will be taking time off from the small screen to have her first child, MailOnline can reveal.
The daughter of former President George W Bush is expecting a baby with her husband Henry Hager - and debuted her bump on the NBC show on Tuesday morning. The pretty blonde, 31, looked blooming as she showed off her fuller figure as she joined her twin sister Barbara at the UNICEF Snowflake ball in Manhattan last month.
And as she returned to her New York home on Tuesday afternoon, she carefully covered up by holding her dry cleaning over her stomach.
A source said that Jenna and Henry, 34, were 'thrilled' as were both their families. It will be the first grandchild for President Bush and his wife Laura.
The couple, who have been married for four years, live in Manhattan, but last month, Jenna described herself as a 'homesick Texan living in New York'. Last year, the former first daughter admitted her parents were desperate for grandchildren, and told People: 'I don't have any children. I just have a cat, to my parents' dismay. 'My dad saw my husband's boss at a conference, and he said to stop paying my husband until we produce children.'
The former teacher turned NBC correspondent said the couple were busy exploring New York and looking after their cat, Bernadette, adding: 'We just try to spend as much time together as possible when we're both home, even little things... I think the little moments are what's most important.'

Bush 2048 ! // sarc
President Bush was strongly pro-life and (reluctantly) pro-traditional marriage.
Not so for the femmes in his world. They may celebrate the expected baby, but are willing to kill when baby becomes inconvenient.
Here we go again. Lefties getting more vulgar, I’m sure.
41’s got some skin cancer issues; hopefully all treatable.
Congratulations to the happy couple and to
Gramma Laura and GW.
I am delighted for the Bushes. W and Laura will make wonderful grandparents.
Good news, but ya know what?
I NEVER want to hear about people asking Freepers to get all excited about ANY Bush running for political office.
Great with the baby —wonderful.
BUT SAY NO TO DYNASTIES.
41 is 88 now. A long and productive life. Obviously age is catching up with him. We’ll see if he skydives on his 90th birthday.
I wanted the first shot at Jenna!
Maybe I should rephrase that to...
Darn, I wish I could have been there first.
Why do conservatives and their kids fall all over themselves to be a part of the media, I remember Jenna was an intern for some show in L.A., now she’s on NBC, of all the channels to choose, why not make it MSNBC! Have another cocktail Jenna, I wouldn’t turn your back on Chriisy Matthews, nor take your kid around him, he may claim it as his preciousssss!
The Democrats laugh at Republicans, no wonder momma Laura Bush loves libtards, I thought Jenna was going to be a teacher, oh well, oh, and what’s truly funny is the libtards think Joe “the body is under the desk” Scarborough is the Republican voice, ha,ha,ha, too funny!
80,000 babies were born in America today. And we should care about this one in particular exactly why?
Just why is it when some news about the Bushes seems to bring out the cattiness in some people on here? Is it so hard to just wish the couple happiness, and the ex-President and wife well with their first grandchild? Why the snotty political remarks? Number 2, why is it we that supported the Bushes see to get this constant lecture (ad nauseum) about supporting another Bush in the future? Why don’t some of you mind your own business and let some of us support who we want to support, eh? No more hissy little lectures, OK?
