Scarborough: Conservative Media 'Destroying' Republican Party
Andrew Brietbart's Big Journalism ^ | 10 Dec 2012 | Larry O'Connor

Posted on 12/11/2012 5:23:54 PM PST by drewh

Joe Scarborough, MSNBC's "House Conservative," showed his desperation to please his liberal audience today on his 2nd place cable morning show "Morning Joe."

Watch the video below to see the former Republican congressman explain that the conservative movement has lost its way thanks to "talk radio hosts and bloggers" who are "making tens of millions of dollars.

They’re getting rich, and hey’re irrelevant."

In the world according to Joe, major media companies throw millions of dollars to tv and radio hosts based on their LACK of significance.

Scarborough spoke in shallow vagaries, in keeping with the show's grueling format which includes three Mika hair-tosses per five minutes, minimum, and only ventured into specifics once or twice.

When you're in the business of telling the MSNBC audience exactly what they want to hear, it's best to lump all talk radio hosts into one category rather than name names and site specifics.

When he did specifically name Rush Limbaugh, his remedy to solve the non-existent problem was steeped into the kind of violent rhetoric that talk radio hosts get slammed for on Scarborough's very own network:

"What do you do to a schoolyard bully?" Scarborough asked. "You punch them in the face. You think any of these people on talk radio, if they’re punched in the face by a Republican nominee, you think they would push back?” "No, they are cowards," he added. "They are bullies. Punch them in the face and they back off. Bullies do that."

El Rush-bo and other millionaire radio hosts can defend themselves quite well, (that's why they make millions) so, instead, let's take a moment to enjoy the deliciously hypocritical irony of Joe Scarborough calling conservative talk hosts "bullies" from the obscene nut house that is MSNBC.

I’m conservative but not a bully, sorry Joe S. but last weekend I was yelled at and finger pointed in the chest and I grabbed the guy by the neck with my left hand and pushed him over 2 tables. Did not drop a bean off my food plate in my right hand. Conservatives don’t all back down.

I sure wish our guys would learn how to spell. Simple mistakes make the rest of what he says less credible. This is a site. You cite specifics.

He is right regarding the republican party he is part of. That republican party is just a facade for the moderate wing of the democrat party...

THERE IS NO CONSERVATIVE PARTY and MoJoe is a moron and a lier

We dont even have a representative government anymore we have a triad of Boner, Reid and Barry Soreto clusterfriging the country into a black hole. All the voices in the house have been silenced there are only 3 or 4 senators as far as I can tell and the Supremes are so corrupted by Roberts the coward the country is hopeless. It must completely collapse before it can be saved.

Spoken by a man who accepts a fat paycheck from MSDNC

Spoken by a former GOP "rising star" who suddenly up and quit congress after a female intern was found dead in one of his offices.

Joe was a blowhard Conservative congressman, strictly in it to get attention.. I watched him on CSpan during his hayday.. He has no core principles, just contrived rhetoric.. Apparently nothing has changed..

I wonder if Joe and Mika have something going on, and Scarborough is mouthing these anti-conservative statements to get in good with her. Wouldn’t be the first time some male has compromised his principles for a pretty face.
