We risk being like Norway if we quit EU, says Cameron: Britain will be “unable to influence laws”

Who does Cameron think he’s fooling . . . ? The UK has zero influence over EU lawmaking right now. There is only one country that directs EU legislation. Britain is already being governed by fax. And the “single market” harms Britain more than helps.

And Barroso is spouting another bald-faced lie: the EU is anything but a “free assocation” of countries, but an “empire,” just like he said back in 2007. And why would the EU be trying to ram a financial transaction tax down the throats of all member states if they were considerate of Britain? because that tax is specifically designed to wipe out London’s financial center.

Norway is laughing it’s butt off! At least Norwegians aren’t communists and they have triple average annual income comparing to Brits who are sinking into a third world.

So, if you withdraw from the Soviet Union, you will become a satellite state?

NOT IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE, YOU F*CKING MORON.

Sometimes, I think these people need their head checked. Unfortunately, there is some truth to what Cameron has said. He and his buddies in the other two mirror parties might leave the EU as a show-gesture, then kowtow to them in private. Okay, you will be just like Norway. Following the same multicultural, family-destroying, Islamizing, child sexualizing path. You might as well stay in the EU, Cameron. With you at the helm, nothing will change, whatever happens.

Recent statistic: Indigenous Brits make up less than half of London’s population.

At least Norwegians aren’t communists! yes, they are at least a great number of them.
and they have triple average annual income comparing to Brits who are sinking into a third world !yes, perhaps so.
If they were like Norway, they would have a trillion $ in the bank instead of owing it to the bank, kind of ironic I think

not quite, Britain does have a voice and it does influence. Not as much as the economic powerhouse, Germany, but it does.

Norwegians have heavier socialism than the UK, and their annual income is due to oil. Which, to their credit, they are shepherding the money earned from oil very well.

No they don’t. If they did, then the EU would be more Britain-like. There is only one country that controls the EU.

Let’s see.....Cameron does not want to be:

Nation with highest per capita income (besides micro-states)

Self sufficient on oil and hydro-electric

Trade policy that does not ship wealth outside of nation...and tariffs products and nations that “dump” on it

Sovereign wealth fund that could probably buy the UK as a whole...and still have 100’s of billions of dollars left

Outside of its high tax rate....Norway is way ahead economically than the UK

Only a NutJob Free Trader Communist Globalist thinks staying in the EU will turn a nation into “Norway”. Gosh, most nations today would rather be Norway than UK

more "Britain-like" -- you mean the country with such a large percentage of its workforce in the public sector? And one with a National Health Care that is both public and doesn't work?

Nah...the Brits are able to prevent the EU from getting too integrated and to enable them to keep their free internal market with the EU

Britains position right now is fine -- not too close, not too far. it shouldn't muck in with France and Germany, but it shouldn't cut itself out either.

The Brits have not succeeded in the areas you claim.

And the NHS is not Britain-like at all. More like the abomination it joined in 1972.

If you don’t think that one particular country controls the EU, then why is the social market economy written into the Treaty of Lisbon?

They will not be bound by them either.

“And the NHS is not Britain-like at all. More like the abomination it joined in 1972.”

And yet the Brits had the NHS from the 1940’s. Talk about being prepared for the future....
