Yes, unions are taxed - and in my estimation RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) definitely applies to today's unions.

BUT - not one single prosecutor today has the guts to charge unions with violation of that law.

It is huge - and actual number of employees is greater than 30,000. Between the hotel and the casino the total employee number is near 58,000 - but only about 30,000 are non-union.
