Bill O'Reilly: Secular forces on the march

As we have been reporting, some committed left-wing Americans have been emboldened by the re-election of President Obama. You are seeing that now in the budget negotiations as the President and his side are not in a compromising mood.

I saw it firsthand this week when I was down in Washington. There is arrogance and condescension in many left-wing precincts despite the fact that U.N. ambassador today Susan Rice is out of consideration as Secretary of State. We'll have more on that with Bob Beckel coming up.

The more intelligent Secular Progressives will understand that now is their time in history. The agenda is clear. Above all the secular forces want to change the economy. They want the government to run it and provide cradle to grave entitlements for those Americans who cannot or will not provide for themselves.

On the above O’Reilly Factor loudmouth Bill was talking to the leftist fatass Bob Beckel. Beckel was saying there is no cultural war going on. He then said something to the effect to O’Reilly, “well you have came out against marriage, and the majority of the American people are for it, blah, blah, blah”. O’Reilly says “I have never said I was against gay marriage”. His next guest was Laura Ingaram and he basically said the same thing to her. Saying gay “marriage” would not destroy the moral fiber of the country, etc.

So first Glenn Beck comes out for sodomite “marriage”, now his buddy O’Reilly. Maybe he’ll get a few choice letters from reading reminding him of the sanctity of marriage and what God says about marriage, but I think he could care less.

O’Reilly, another closet liberal, who calls himself Catholic, going against his church on marriage. He has also said before that homosexuals should be able to adopt children. As soon as I can find yesterday's interview with Beckel I'll post it.

I'll post O'Reilly's interview with Beckel as soon as I can find it.

Well, O’Reilly is right. Like it or not, secular forces are on the march and running circles around traditional values. Yes, Bill O is a loudmouth, but he isn’t wrong about what is happening.

The culture is changing rapidly. Gay marriage will be the law of land pretty much everywhere before long. There is no way to remove gays from the military now - that is just not going to happen. Libertine positions on social issues are so strongly supported by the younger generations that many that are even fiscally conservative won’t even consider voting for Republicans because of people like Akin, Mourdoch, etc.

And as the culture moves more secular, the nanny state and belief in big government will likely grow. There is probably no way to turn this around. This socialist poison will just have to run it’s course through the body politic.

The public is just not with us. No amount of burying our heads will help. At minimum, we’ve lost the culture wars. My guess is the Republican party will take a more libertarian stance and focus almost entirely on fiscal/economic issues and avoid talking about abortion, gay marriage, etc.

More than, “going against his church”, how about, going against the Almighty God and His Word. Beckel is nothing but a “talking points” clown. Might as well be Jay Carney talking.

“Gay marriage will be the law of land pretty much everywhere before long’

Unless the John Roberts lead liberals in the US Supreme Court take marriage away from the states with some leftist ruling, SODOMITE marriage WILL NEVER be allowed in the majority of the states. The few states where it has been made law it was enacted by leftist governors who didn’t give a damn about the will of the people. In in the couple of states where it passed on the ballot, it only passed (and barely) because leftist money by the millions came into to those states from out of state to cram this garbage down the throats of the people. In Washington States the queer “marriage” advocates outspend normal people by almost 8 to 1, the vast majority of the money coming from out of state. And it still barely passed. On a level playing field it passes no where.

It will be a cold day in hell before sodomite “marriage” passes on a vote of the people in the majority of the states, ESPECIALLY Southern states, where morality still exists.

Sorry, but within 10-20 years, the majority of states will allow gay marriage. Unless there is an economic collapse or something big to stop the trend, that is the direction we are going. The ones that banned it via constitutional amendment will simply pass a new amendment reversing the previous one. The older, more traditional voters are dying off. And the younger generation of conservatives aren't even very interested in the social issues - they are far more libertarian, so there will be little to no help from them. It's sad to watch traditional America fade away, but the writing is on the wall.
