MI won’t do anything

Michigan will do what they can legally do which won't be a whole lot because its still a very minor issue. There must be dozens of people arrested for fighting in Michigan everyday.

I agree, MI probably won’t do anything, unless pressed.
However, assault is assault, he is a union official and
as long as this behavior goes unreported and allowed it will
continue.
The perp needs to be brought forward to a court and at least
have notoriety and be exposed.
A friend’s son got into a fight like this over a girl.
Punch hit him in the temple and he died.
If people are allowed to get away with behavior like this
with no consequences then I can understand the lower state
of our society today.

One punch in the face is misdemeanor assault at best. Probably a fine.
