Apparently it would be quicker to list the great people who did not have it.
People who have challenges have to struggle enough just learning to accept themselves, let along be a danger to others.
I think blaming Asperger’s here is very, very wrong.
Children with Asperger’s cannot help it. They are not demons.
"Asperger's syndrome, also called Asperger's disorder, is a type of pervasive developmental disorder (PDD).
PDDs are a group of conditions that involve delays in the development of many basic skills, most notably the ability to socialize with others, to communicate, and to use imagination.
Although Asperger's syndrome is similar in some ways to autism -- another, more severe type of PDD -- there are some important differences. Children with Asperger's syndrome typically function better than do those with autism.
In addition, children with Asperger's syndrome generally have normal intelligence and near-normal language development, although they may develop problems communicating as they get older.
Michael Jackson is your idol ?? and that’s all I need to know. Hed was one sicko.
Apparently these people are just rude.
” I advocate the tolerance of neurodiversity as much as the promotion of cultural diversity. I will talk to you about autistic rights and autistic pride movements. “
All fine and good..but if the person is violent crazy..they need to be put away in a mental hospital!! Liberals don’t want to talk about that though...they don’t believe in putting crazies in homes.
Nothing to be "proud" of for either of them.
Usually you see .sits like this claiming these historic figures were gay.
WHAT? Jackson might be said to be a 'great entertainer' but I can not even begin to imagine what he could ever 'inspire' anyone over.
Someone must have some very low aspirations in life if a screwed up unit like Jackson could have inspired them.
Inspired them to do what? Moon Dance? Spend millions on bad plastic surgens? Sleep with little boys?
I don't get it. I had nothing but sympathy for Jackson who grew up a totally disfunctional family and life. But inspiration? Please.
Propaganda. I know someone personally who has a now adult child with this. Some who have it are very dangerous.
Aspergers and violence go together in many cases. I know A guy with a kid that has it. He says the kid gets violent when he does not get his way, and that he gets worse as he ages.
Kids (and adults) with Aspergers are prone to frustration, anger and sometimes violence. The rapidity and intensity of anger, often in response to a relatively trivial event, can be extreme. When feeling angry, the child with Aspergers does not appear to be able to pause and think of alternative strategies to resolve the situation. There is often an instantaneous physical response without careful thought. When the anger is intense, the youngster with Aspergers may be in a blind rage and unable to see the signals indicating that it would be appropriate to stop.
