New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg isn't satisfied with President Obama's promise Friday to take "meaningful action" to prevent future mass shootings.
"[T]he country needs him to send a bill to Congress to fix this problem and take immediate executive action,"

“Meaningful action”. Damn! Is that a “dog whistle”?
The communists are about to bury the SCOTUS with cases about the rights of We the People v. Da Gubmint.
see immediate nationwide confiscation of weapons from law-abiding citizens.. criminals later (if it's not to difficult).
Hot damn! We got 'em on the lam! they cheer.
What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?
Somebody needs to call Bloomhole on his endless calls for somebody to do something. He’s the mayor, let him offer up a royal decree for his city and leave the rest of us the hell alone.
“Immediate executive action”?
Is that like sending his brownshirts door-to-door to collect everyone’s firearms?
I have to think of a better hiding place for mine.
I think Zero will try to reclassify, via EO, all semi-automatic firearms with removable magazines as “Machine Guns.”
A bill to lock up crazy people?
He’s gotta run for president at least once before he fades away. Undoubtedly he’ll run as a republican.
If only we had laws that
made stealing a crime
made killing a crime
made fraud a crime
What would that law be and how would it fix this problem?
I hope he sends a bill to Congress preventing everybody, and that is absolutely everybody, thinking they have an obligation to comment publicly on this tragedy and similar events. Enough people!
They will shoot for the moon......... gun show loophole, new AWB. But the one thing I think they have the best shot at will be a hi-cap mag ban.
Clearly its time to outlaw murder.
Odumbo can try whatever his sick mind decides.
No EO can overide the Constitution. It would be summarily ignored. As would any manufactured 'state of emergency.'
To the dimwits who wring their hands and ask, 'why do we have so many of these incidents?' there are two reasons. This is one of the largest countries in the world. Among 316,000,000 persons, you WILL have one of the 25% who are functionally insane, one of them will act out.
And when those insane are treated as normal for PC reasons, there is always a price to pay for irrational empathy. Just pray it is never a member of your family.
ammo will be like sudafed.
Oh, there's gonna be a gun ban coming around the corner. You can count on that. It'll probably be a line-for-line resurrection of the Clinton-era AWB. Won't be an Executive Order though. Obama has the political capital now that Clinton didn't have in '94. He'll cut a deal with House Republicans to run it through. And he'll have ample public support. Twenty dead kindergartners right before Christmas is more than many American voters can bear.
