The duty of teachers is to keep children safe at school, they stand in loco parentis. That danger now includes shooters who would enter the school and kill students. The answer, and the only answer of any American who has an ounce of sense is to arm teachers and make sure they are trained to discharge their duty to keep students safe.
Its just that simple.Meanwhile these celebrities think that disarming law abiding citizens is the answer, so that those law abiding citizens too will be victims to the next crazy a$$holes like you celebreties are, who come along armed?..... Making Americans all into sheep who must depend on others for self defence, one of the most basic human rights of any civilized nation?

Celebrities call for gun control. Will this control include their bodyguards?
Nobody at that school had a gun and the police came to late to save the dead children. These celebs are freaking stupid.
We already have thousands of gun laws in effect, with little or no effect. Yet, these idiots want more! Gun laws only effect law abiding gun owners and will never deter the criminal element or those that want to kill other people.
Do away with guns, and the person intent on killing people will find another way ... bombs, knives, baseball bats ... they will find something.
....are we going to find out later all these people have armed bodyguards?
So these azzes would rather over a million people a year who use guns to defend themselves would be raped, robbed, or killed.

Oh yeah, one of the most popular shows on TV today features a group of people, including a young boy, that use some powerful firearms to protect them from zombies in a apocalyptic landscape.

I thought that, but then I realized that it would be insane for such a man to even show his face on a day like today, let alone lecture the world on the root cause of senseless violence. Hence, it must be an entirely different screenwriter named Kevin Williamson.
Actually we need more guns, not fewer - I wonder how many more of these incidents we’d have if it were known across the country that every school had a gun available on site, safely stored but ready for immediate access, and at least three staff members trained to use it if needed - at least I have a hunch staff and parents would have a greater feeling of safety, even though in spite of themselves at times.....
