Instead of praying, these folks in Washington DC decided to hold a candlelight vigil in favor of gun control. Libs have no soul or heart.

This should be a huge day for gun sales, before the gun grabbers use this horror as a pretext.

The murderer did not buy the guns. He took them from his mother, who bought them. How can government stop that?

He did not use the “assault rifle,” only the pistols, so all the inflammatory statements about “assault rifles” are just the usual gun-grabbers’ hyperbole.

Givcn what we know now, the best solution is to round up autistic children. Guns don’t think, but he did. Guns don’t go out and get their friends together to make an arsenal, but he did. Guns don’t stand up and point at children, but he did. guns don’t pull their own triggers, but he did.

So simple if you look at it dispassionately.

Round up the autistic.

And he didn’t even own the guns. So all the laws in the world would not have meant a damn thing.

Obama can sign anything he likes; it won’t hold.

Jack, you may be right about the pols coming up with something to die in committee. They may also pass something in the Senate to try to demagogue the issue in the House. I don't think Obama will make this his showdown vote. He has bigger things to push through the House like tax increases and taxes on energy.

But the latter reminds me of his war on coal. Ir's no accident that he is hiring 100 high paid federal employees a day. These people are at the upper ranks in the bureaucracies and will themselves have hiring authority. They will hire people who are antigun throughout the federal government and will be guaranteed to hate gun owners, gun manufacturers, employers who allow guns, truckers who ship guns, park administrators, school administrators who don't toe the line, policy wonks who implement gun control in 1000 different ways.

This is Obama's war on America. He wants to destroy America's power and the power invested in Americans by the Bill of Rights. He wants to destroy the soul and moral fiber of America. He wants to teach children to hate and fear guns (except the gang bangers who are his allies). He will sign an EO or two for the cameras so he can be seen as doing something. He may sign a few more away from the cameras that go further. But mostly he is expanding and subverting the federal government for his cause.

"But some organizations spoke out, including Gun Owners of America, which has about 300,000 members and is headquartered in Springfield, Va. “Gun-control supporters have the blood of little children on their hands,” Larry Pratt, the group’s executive director, said. “Federal and state laws combined to insure that no teacher, no administrator, no adult had a gun at the Newtown school where the children were murdered. This tragedy underscores the urgency of getting rid of gun bans in school zones,” he added. “The only thing accomplished by gun-free zones is to ensure that mass murderers can slay more before they are finally confronted by someone with a gun.” Gun Owners of America called for state and federal lawmakers to immediately overturn bans on guns in schools."

Well said, but it is appearing in Newsmax, not major media. The left's control of the major media is an incredible handicap in fighting the anti-freedom forces of victimhood.

A Sig Sauer handgun and a Glock handgun were used in the slaying and .223 shell casings – a round used in a semi-automatic military-style rifle — were also found at the scene. Nancy Lanza had numerous weapons registered to her, including a Glock and a Sig Sauer. She also owned a Bushmaster rifle — a semi-automatic carbine chambered for a .223 caliber round. However, federal authorities cannot confirm that the handguns or the rifle were the weapons recovered at the school.

If you have a child with issues why are thier guns in your home, irresponsible gun owner!

The act was done by a young man who was totally wasted.

The school was a gun free zone.

Where were the guards?

The blame lies squarely upon the shoulders of all in administrative power within the school and all who made it a gun free zone........NOT LAW ABIDING GUN OWNERS!

High School-Columbine, University-Virgina Tech, Elementary School-Sandy Hook, Middle School- ?... Maybe we can be ready for the next one, but the only thing that will be done, is making it more difficult for those who can do something, to be able to do anything.

People need to be stocking up on firearms and ammo like there is no tomorrow including buying extras for parts and extras on top of that for future generations and possibly even BURYING some out in the rural countryside. If the government can try it, they’ll use every means at their disposal to dismantle peoples homes to find every thing that ever had a serial # filed with ATF since ‘68. If items are buried, they’ll have to use ground penetrating radar over every square inch the North American US. I don’t think they have the funds, the manpower, nor the capability to find everything that way, especially if folks bury docoys; junk, car parts, other piece metal to bog down an entire search session.

Good on two points. Pmags are good mags. 30 round mags will be the first targets of any new legislation.
