Live Press conference scheduled to begin at 8 AM
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
Per press conf- very good info found at house of mom and shooter that will provide very good evidence as to why this was done.
Yes, very sad to imagine but everything at the scene had to be examined exactly as it was so that it could be determined if there was a second or third shooter. Also, the forensics experts on Fox told the Friends that there would most likely be civil lawsuits in the future as well.
Guy in the woods may have been cutting wood ... wrong place at the wrong time?
Also, forced his way in, was not allowed in.
No doubt that the shooter probably left lots of clues of his mental sociopathology in that house. I will say that this sheriff seems very level headed and not prone to political posturing...thank God.
ME and Supt of Schools will be giving press conf within the hour for identification of victims and info on schools etc.
My first reaction- emotional of course- would be to tear down the school and rebuild a new and different one.
It’s very tough to imagine these kids, teachers and parents having to go back into that school.
Glad to get that question answered at least.
Doesn’t seem that surprising that an underaged kid brother would have his ID. Maybe an old license or something that would get him into a bar. Brother might have given it to him or might not have known about it.
That is understandable.
My reaction would probably be to home school, for a variety of reasons.
Sorry if this was already posted.
Adam Lanza: Skinny outcast who became a mass killer
Could've been an old school student body card or an old drivers license left at home and that's why he didn't miss it?
I work with law enforcement, so I understand and on a professional level, I know why it takes so long.
That being said, as a mother and grandmother, my heart breaks for those little ones and their families. How many parents and grandparents went to bed last night, looking at someone’s blankie or favorite toy that their child always had to have at bedtime? In this case, the emotional side of me tells the professional side of me to just shut up.
Perhaps it was an old ID -- like his brother's outdated DL that he wouldn't miss.
While I am a strong believer in home schooling, not every parent is capable of doing this. Possibly, they might have a friend or relative who could fill the bill.
I suppose schools are going to have to have lockdowns. By that I mean - keep the doors locked during the day with security posted for those who have to go there on business. Put bars on the doors - like they have in prisons.
Ok, I’m rambling, but for heaven’s sake - the answer isn’t gun control. It never has been and never will be.
And nobody died.
I know what you mean.
Just a thought..but maybe we need to lock up the nuts...not the guns or the kids.
I agree with others...the problem is rooted in our rotting society..not our guns.
We live in such a ‘knee-jerk’ society now.. 90% want tighter gun controls in that poll on that page.
thank you so much for your links.
