SHOTS FIRED INSIDE BIRMINGHAM HOSPITAL, 3 INJURED, GUNMAN KILLED

Birmingham police are on the scene at Saint Vincent's Hospital this morning, where somebody fired a gun early this morning.

We have now learned that a police officer and two hospital employees were injured during that shooting, and they have been taken to UAB hospital.

Their injuries were not life threatening.

The gunman was killed during the shooting.

Police say that the public is not in any danger, and that the situation is under control.

Our reporter on the scene says additional nurses have been called in to work.

A family friend called this morning to tell me that a distant cousin was in surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
He worked there and was assisting with a patient that had been brought in by the police.
A policeman was also in the emergency room watching the patient.
My cousin was shot in the leg and in the back, by a gunman who came into the room later.
That's al I know at this time.

IMHO these events are not coincidental.

Within a couple of days - if not on the Sunday gas bag shows - we will be hearing that WH clown has a "MANDATE" to restrict, or even throw out, the 2nd Amendment for "the sake of the children". No Constitutional proposal or vote will be necessary because clown will be deemed to have been given a "MANDATE" by the media and public to ban all guns that ____________ you fill in the blank.

Yes, thank God they had an armed policeman on duty. More people could have been hurt. This is what seems to be needed at schools and public places. As sad as it is to admit - the times call for security where there are masses of people congregated. What a mess society is in!
