Adam Lanza had lived with his mother in the 4,000-square-foot, $700,000 house. His parents were divorced in 2009.
He had two bedrooms that were clean and orderly when law officers swept into the house after the shootings Friday morning. Lanza apparently lived in one of the rooms and kept his computer gear and other items in the other one, the sources said. Law officers found evidence that Adam Lanza played graphically violent video games, the sources said.

Let’s see. We have psychotic and mentally disturbed youth who have been socially marginalized, either through self-marginalization or through the emasculination of white males by society. Then, you couple that with a decadent culture similar to ancient Rome where sexuality and violence are glamorized. What’s not to understand here?

It’s beginning to seem to me as if he might have carried a grudge against the school and the administrators there. Whether than spins off of his own experiences at the school or somehow involves his mother, I can’t say. Maybe he blamed them for pathologizing him, for labeling him as having a psychiatric disorder. He turned up there in first grade. He killed the psychologists, the youngest kids and their teachers. Maybe it wasn’t random.
I have 2 neighbors and both have 3 kids and each one has one in grammar school.Each of those grammar school kids is on some type of drug because they “Act Up” in school.
Same ole crap.kids act normal aka act up staff and parent don’t know how to handle it so they drug the kid.
IMOP the drugs are the root.Give them open access to fire arms desensitize them with violent vids and beware.
Oh I don’t believe it was random at all. The connection between the school and Adam may be as simple as Adam blaming the school for his life/social issues. Somewhere along the way, the lines between reality and fantasy (video games) disappeared. Fueled by festering anger and no other outlet, he made fantasy become reality.
This sick freak held a grudge ALL THE WAY BACK TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. His parents knew they were raising a freak. Just like the Colombine shooters’s parents.
So the father split and washed his hands of his son by sending hefty alimony checks to his ex wife and giving her the big house?
And the mom dealt with him by letting him spend all his time alone in his room playing video games and god knows what else?
The Mother knowing her child very well, taught him to shoot proficiently. Knowing the history of kids like hers, they are a ticking time bomn, full of residual anger.
I do blame the Mother. I want to know why Adam and his brother Ryan became estranged?
Friend and neighbor's sister took out her celebrity comic husband in a very well known case. Shot him to death while in bed.
The drug companies paid out a huge settlement to keep the family quiet.
Apparently there is enough of a margin selling Prozac and the like that you can afford a multiple slaying now and then.

Paid for by dad (now divorced), along with $240k per year alimony. Dad’s quite a guy - a corporate VP at General Electric. Worked real hard to get there - no doubt super-long hours and lots of travel. Oh the kid...let others deal with him...drugs should work.
I do wonder if he thinks it was worth it all now.

On Friday when the story broke there were Freepers just clamoring for the name of the shooter to be released. Like RIGHT NOW. Some were implying that the media was trying to hide something by holding back the name.
This is a perfect example of what happens when you release stuff without vetting it. The media rushes to get information out (Trust me, the media wants to get a name out ASAP. Especially in this case, whether the name was John Smith, D’a’Quisha Washington, or Mohammed Abdul Sayeed).
In the rush to get stuff out, so far just about every initial report has turned out to be wrong.
I bet the police and criminal psychiatrists are building a profile based on Ryan’s testimony right now.

That just gelled an interesting observation from the past.
My now grown kids were heavy into the first person shooter games when they were young.
After 9/11 I started them on .22’s and we’d spend weekends blowing through bricks of ammo plinking at crap we bought at yard sales.
After that they lost interest in the violent games.

Not only the parents... The school staff knows, their shrinks know, in Loughner’s case the Sheriff had had contact with him, and we might as well throw in ol’ “workplace violence” Hassan, the Army knew he was a Muzzie freak.
PC contributed to the deaths of all these nutjobs victims.
Please. Can we not blame EVERYTHING on Obama? We’re not Democrats (who reflectively blamed Bush for everything). The media is the media. They’ve always been this way. They were this way before Obama showed up, and will be this way long after he’s gone.
