I can't find a definitive source regarding the Bushmaster. There seem to be several people in the webisphere who swear they watched video of police taking the rifle out of the trunk of the car, but I can't seem to locate said video.
If it exists then it needs to be downloaded and disseminated because they are also saying that the kids were shot with .223 and if that's the case the someone has some 'splaining to do.
How did Lanza shoot his victims, then himself, and then return the gun to the trunk of his car?

Why is it so hard to believe him saying this? He was the drug Czar back in the Bush I administration and was the driving force behind the executive order which banned importation of ‘assault weapons’.

Republicans had to be more sensitive.. OK they became ersatz Democrats and since then (~ 15 years) they've won I think three statewide elections including two by SchwarzenKennedy.
BTW.. at the time of passing Prop 187 (1994) a Republican was elected governor and Republicans elected a majority in the Assembly for the first time in decades.

I am starting to think that “Conservatives” are just Liberals with different issues they want to control and push down Individual’s throats.

The media bobbleheads don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. A while back I saw one on FOX knowingly announce that semi automatic weapons can’t be used for hunting.
Bill Bennett, former Education Secretary, is still trying to remain relevant in the world of so-called conservatism.
He used to have a morning coffee Klatch that was about as irrelevant to conservatism, RINOism or anything Republican as a wart on my arse. They took that off the mainstream air here in Atlanta; and, I suspect ‘they’ did this in a whole lot of markets around the country.
It is not up to him, his momma, Connecticut, the Democrat Party, OR the Republican Party to give away my right to bear arms (no mention of arms type, e.g., assault rifle is given in the 2nd Amendment, nor is there a specific purpose needed, i.e., hunting).
If they want to take them away, then get Three Quarters of the States in this increasingly irrelevant Union and enact an Amendment to repeal the 2nd Amendment. Otherwise, be prepared for a shitstorm if you try to take them without it.
