It's interesting to note that that a quick search on the Newtown school district website (http://www.newtown.k12.ct.us) yields no results when searching for the word "Christmas".
Also, the site for the Newtown High School itself (http://newtown.nhs.schooldesk.net) contains a rather lengthy list of of its clubs and organizations. Nowhere on the list is mention of any kind of Christian student organization, although there is a "Gay/Straight Alliance".
If, indeed, the Christian message has been effectively purged from this school district, it would be very sad.
Our nation has banned God and guns from the classroom. And we’re reaping the rewards.
