A U.S. soldier was killed Friday after he opened fire on members of the Military Police at the Fort Hood Army base in the state of Texas, according to a source.
The MPs at Fort Hood while on routine patrol discovered a suspicious vehicle parked near the main gate of the base in the early morning, according to the law enforcement source.

That seems like a virtual miracle after what happened last time at Ft Hood. That shocked me! I never knew that the MP’s weren’t armed on a military base........
The article says they have not released his name or “pedigree” yet. I guess he was a dog, not a person. Ou of control, armed, K9 I guess.

During my stellar military career (cough,cough) I never had a single “unpleasant” encounter with an MP.If I had known that they weren’t actually armed I might have been less “compliant”. (only kidding)
Hell, when I was a young kid in the USAF in 1958 guarding F-102 Delta Daggers in Alaska (still a US Territory then) I was armed to the teeth. I even had the audacity to challenge pilots when they approached their fighter planes. My three stripes and M-1 carbine against their captain railroad tracks. I was always right.
Of course, my C.I.C. was a guy by the name of Dwight Eisenhower. How grateful I am that I was allowed to serve my country under that man.

Funny how the Democrats are trying to introduce and pass a bill to completely ban semi-automatic rifles within a few short weeks of a some white, wacko kid shooting up a school, and three years later they are still trying to try and convict a wacko, Islamofascist for shooting 42 military members at Ft Hood.
Are you saying the Ft. Hoods MPs weren’t armed during the mass murder?

I was just thinking you and my Father would have gotten along great.
He was a combat veteran of WWII. For some reason he hated two groups. MPs and Airborne. I have no idea why tho he did once say that Airborne were trained to fight their own people.
I knew better than that but never argued with him.
