A big part of the problem is them enforcing the laws already on the books.

That is curiously absent. I have heard it described it as a Bushmaster in .223 caliber, but I have not heard it called an assault weapon.

If anyone watched Fox News Sunday, the definition of “assault weapons” is expanding and now included semi-auto pistols.
This went unchallenged by Wallace and was in fact promoted by Wallace.
Wallace repeatedly referred to a pistol that could shoot five rounds a second. To my knowledge, Lanza had a Sig and a Glock. Anyone know where he is getting this.
Dick Durbin called the firarms military weapons and went unchallenged. Wallace asked the same question of the next guess as if were true.
