There were so many levels to President Obama's speech: philosophical, sorrowful determined universal, simple, beautiful...
People will long remember what Barack Obama said in Newtown...his Gettysburg address...
The stilted, disjointed, rhetoric was bad enough. However, the disingenuous body language and thinly veiled threats couched in cheap lawyerly ambiguity made this one strong argument for a two statements that should be taught in every school.
“An armed people is a free people.” and “A just government trusts it’s people rather than tries to control them.”
What a bloody hypocrite Obama is. His presence demeaned those poor people. He’s a fake, phony fraud.
Maraniss used to sing hymms to Slick Willie and his wife all the time too. I can see where he’d be praising Barry’s anti-Bill of Rights speech as being similar to the Gettysburg Address.
Abe Bama is of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Let no one forget that the Obama administration purposely gave guns to drug cartels hoping they would be used to commit murder for the purpose of promoting gun control.
Back just after Columbine, my daughter graduated from the U of Ark. At the ceremony our former senator (Dale Bumpers)gave the most downer speech I and others have ever heard. One of the graduating students later said of the speech...”Well, I guess we all might as well kill ourselves.”.
As the program started Bumpers walked along with the rest of the staff. Knowing he was also anti-gun I had an itch to stick out my foot and trip him as I was in reach.
After his downer speech I wish I had.
My gosh, Gettysburg was during the Civil War, a tradgedy of epic proportions. Conn. is a very sad event,

Well, I’m pretty upset now. There was no “barf alert” disclaimer in the heading. For a second I really believed this might have been something I missed. Not. Glad I wasn’t watching the game only to be interrupted by the bufoon in chief.

If I were a fan of football, which I am not, I could forgive them for the HEIDI interruption 44 years ago, but not the Obama interruption.

i read his biography on Vince Lombardi- When Pride Still Mattered...historically it was pretty good but what was annoying as all hell was Maraniass would end every chapter with his opinion of what was happening as though the reader could not think for themselves- then again hanging around liberals all his life i could understand why he felt that need...
Transcript of speech?
It was nothing more than a cynical political demagoguery of gun control. He danced in the blood of little children and dared anyone to defy him on his agenda.
