None dared when I first went to school in the little town of Hot Springs New Mexico in the late 1940’s – because the fact that teachers were armed was highly publicized in local newspapers.

When Hot Springs was renamed in 1950, did you and your neighbors like the new name?

T or C (Hot Springs) has a great, new Holiday Inn Express.

LOL - nope, most hated the idea, as my family did. However Ralph Edwards was true to his promise - he brought stars to the place and put on a big show every year - free to all comers. Did it bring attention to the place? I guess... but the eventual outcome wasn’t as great as the promise.
