Texas Democrat issued tweet calling for NRA members to be shot

So, he's asking for people who know nothing about guns to go up against people who can actually hit a target?

What a stupid suggestion.

Irony abounds

Yes. Anti-gunners want to use guns to kill pro-gunners, thus making the anti-gunner into a pro-gunner, and hence a target for the next anti-gunner . Makes perfect sense to me.

Of course they won’t - just ask the Branch Davidians who just wanted to be left alone. Not a single federal agent was ever prosecuted for the massacre.

Ah, this is Texas and there are many Texans who are NRA members and who very well armed. For Democrat precinct committeeman John Cobarruvias to advocate the murder of NRA members is a rather shortsighted threat. Were those who took him seriously, the intended victims would undoubtedly respond by shooting back and probably not take prisoners. So, Mr. John Cobarruvias, if you're felling froggy . . . then jump!

Most sheeperals are “liberal” in order to bolster their unearned sense of advocacy-based self-righteousness.

Pointing out that the policies that make them feel good about themselves as good people are enforced at gun point “harshes their buzz”.

Another person who has mental problems. He will be the next one going off on the deep end. Where is his family to get him help.

From the article:
Larsen said she "pasted a screen shot from the Freedom’s Outpost story in case NASA employee and Democrat Precinct 699 Chair John Cobarruvias of the Houstonblog Bay Area Houston tries to delete his tweet."
Turns out that John Cobarruvias is also a civil service NASA employee at the Johnson Space Center. Perhaps someone can think of something to do with that tidbit of info.

“It would be nice if the left would actually make the move necessary to trigger a resounding response from people defending their liberty. . .But, they’re too smart for that.”

As Earl Stanley Gardiner's great fictional lawyer Perry Mason would say: “You have assumed a fact not in evidence.”

The Left isn't that smart or devious on the whole and they have a lot of unhinged morons on the fringes. The more the politicians rachet-up their rhetoric, the more likely it is one of these loons will act. Then, the blowback begins.

This is the voice of violence and hate in society that is spurring on attention whore lunatics into action. He needs to be brought up on charges for threatening the lives of NRA members. Maybe there should be a class action suit.

In light of what just happened in Conn., this is criminal action by a radical, anti-social disordered politican. This is the murderous, dehumanizing mentality slaughtering in Mexico. It’s un-American. He’s inciting violence. He’s called for the murder of people he hates.

They don't listen anyway. The beauty of liberalism is that you already know all the answers, so you never need to question your beliefs. Gun control is not a rational conclusion for these people, but rather an article of faith. "For the true believer no proof is necessary." (and no disproof possible)

Given a chance, statists always get around to using government mass-murder as a political tool. Always.

Democrat Precinct Chair John Cobarruvias is no different than Adam Lanza.

This is why violent, mentally ill people should be removed from society. Should we wait until he does murder a NRA member?

Cobarruvias = Adams.

Actually, it is a rational conclusion from the wrong starting point. That wrong starting point is the nature of man. They believe that the people who seek power do so out of benevolence, and are inherently superior morally and intellectually, and are therefore going to do everything to the benefit of society.

It seems the esteemed Mr. Cobarruvias has an e-mail address.

It is johncoby@orbitworld.net

Feel free to contact him there. Here’s what I sent:

Mr. Cobarruvias,

I was recently made aware of one of your recent tweets during which you advocated the shooting of NRA members and their supporters.

As an NRA and TSRA member, ardent supporter of the second amendment and aspiring firearms training coach, I wanted to tell you that I take your comments seriously. To that end, be advised that in the off chance that we meet (and I am in the Bay Area rather frequently), I will consider your presence as an immediate threat to my life and will act accordingly in compliance with all existing state and federal laws.

Regards,

TxEagle

Just found this at Weasel Zippers.

After reading about the tweets on another site, Yvonne Larsen noticed a familiar name.

“Among the selection of tweets advocating for the murder of NRA President Keene and all NRA members was a name familiar to me; probably familiar to many readers of Houston’s Liberal blog sites,” she wrote at Big Jolly Politics.

Larsen said she “pasted a screen shot from the Freedom’s Outpost story in case NASA employee and Democrat Precinct 699 Chair John Cobarruvias of the Houstonblog Bay Area Houston tries to delete his tweet.
