“2. The outbreak of chemical warfare between the Syrian army and rebels - both armed with poisonsous substances”
The more the merrier.
I’m glad we seemed to have pulled out recently (according to debkafile a couple of days ago) i’d rather not have our boys anywhere near this... http://www.debka.com/article/22618/US-pulls-war-fleet-from-Syrian-water-Ahmadinejad-cancels-Turkey-visit
The Russians have radar ships in the Persian Gulf controlling Syrias SAM sites. To have a successful air attack youd need to take them out first. The Israelis have at least two German made diesel boats in the Persian Gulf, most likely based in India, which owns the same model boats. It is likely that the Israelis have one boat on station 24/7 and it is relieved by the second boat. Both are likely to have nuclear tipped cruise missiles, which would be useless against the Iranian bomb program but could, in all probability end Iran as working nation. This Russian development is much more dangerous than it appears on the surface depending on who feels threatened by the Russian move.
