found nothing at the residence to indicate he was taking medication,

Medications don't make a person a killer any more than does a gun.

True, but NOT being on your medications can make you as easily as dangerous, and i wouldnt be surprised if that was the real issue here.

Medications don’t make a person a killer any more than does a gun.

Studies done on people taking SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) would indicate otherwise. A google search reveals information on these drugs that lead one to believe that some people may be negatively impacted by taking these drugs as they do change the brain chemistry.

IF the allegations that this kid had Asperger’s Syndrome and you add a SSRI that can remove inhibitions and reveal the true you, then you very could well end up with an unfeeling person capable of acting on hostile thoughts with no empathy or remorse.

Guns don't cause delusions, mania and paranoia. Some medications do including the one that he was on or withdrawing from.

People can become subject to absolutely overwhelming rage that's directly caused by changed in their brain chemistry related to prescription psychiatric drugs, especially when they are in withdrawal from SSRI's.

It's worth looking at for 30 seconds. I urge you to click on this link and just take half a minute scanning the information here:

Then why do the drug ads warn about suicidal thoughts can be a side effect of these psychotrophic drugs?

Some medications promote suicidal thoughts.
And sometimes misery loves company.
