KILLER ADAM LANZA 'OBSESSED' WITH VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES (Dynasty Warriors)
UK Express ^ | 12/18/12

THE loner responsible for the sickening massacre was mentally ill, aggressive and had an unhealthy obsession for violent computer games, it emerged last night.

Cowardly Adam Lanza, 20, was driven to carry out the bloody killings after his parents split up and his friends alienated him, reports emerging from America revealed.

Chillingly, his favourite video game was said to be a shockingly violent fantasy war game called Dynasty Warriors which is thought to have given him inspiration to act on his darkest thoughts.

His easy access to a deadly arsenal – he learned how to shoot after his mother took him to local ranges – meant he was able to wreak revenge for his lonely existence.

His parents Nancy and Peter split up in 2009, and he is understood to have taken it particularly badly, but his emotional and social problems appear to have run much deeper.

He had not spoken to his 24-year-old older brother Ryan for more than two years.

High school colleagues said crazed Lanza was a member of the outcast “tech club” where boys who had trouble making friends with their peers played together.

He was vividly remembered as someone who had difficulty socialising with people.

He is said to have suffered from antisocial disorder Asperger’s syndrome and was known for being unable to empathise with others, suffering child-like violent tantrums.

It is a Japanese MMORPG popular among hacker and really deep in gamers because of the complexity of the setup and play. Imagine Warcraft crossed with Halo but with Pentagon super computer power behind it.

They'll ban video games next.

They'll put it in with their "assault weapon" ban.

That's all that's needed to be pointed out.

I just looked at some YouTube videos of the Dynasty Warrior series, It looks like a sword and sorcery type of game and not the tactical warfare genre that uses firearms. I don’t get the connection between this game and the shooting of children. Anybody have a different take?

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

The guy used a car to get to the school. Ban cars! He practiced shooting on video games. Ban video games! Ban anything, but don’t restrict crazy people; that’s not allowed.

This gamr may have a grisly 'obseession' component to it like Dungeons and Dragons back in the day

I've also heard other reports he was addicted to Call of Duty 2

The tech mob is only place where boring and maladjusted nerds are “cool” and their anti-social potential can be realized.

Remember when joining any tech cult in the marketplace. Listen carefully and think the opposite. The Marxist GE, Google and facebook nerd CEO’s should come to mind.

I don't think liberals are trying to do anything for our own good. I think that there is a severe psychological error in some people (liberals!) that makes them absolute, total control freaks. They get their rocks off by controlling every aspect of other people's lives.

They don't care about going good for people, they merely enjoy watching people bend to their will.

How many millions of young males have been playing FPS for years now? If this was true, then wouldn’t we be seeing Sandy Hooks every day at this point?

I remember when games like Quake II were blamed for shootings, and that was going on 10 years ago.

These ****ing morons do not have a clue what they are babbling on about.

If Americans want to take measures to address why this happens in our society, maybe they should start by addressing their staggering, colossal, blithering ignorance.

If they to know what a violent video game is, then perhaps they should check out the Manhunt series.

Dynasty Warriors is lol...

Eh, the new-found fascination of FReepers with the British tabloid press needs to stop.

Took a look at the game - there are no guns, there’s no blood, no dismemberments or decapitations. There’s nothing REMOTELY “shockingly violent” about it. People just get hit with a sword or staff and fall over.

Were it not for outcast “tech club” types, the computer you typed just your silly post on wouldn’t exist.

Call of Duty 2 is 6 years old. You can barely find servers now. Probably Black:Ops 2.

I play COD World at War. It’s 2 generations up from COD2

Some serial killers were obsessed with clowns. Others liked dead cats. I’m fed up with the 24/7 coverage of this thing. How many people died of Cancer today? How many died in car wrecks? Why aren’t there detailed 24/7 stories about the families of these tragedies?
