Numerous school massacres stopped by gun owners who wielded their weapons in defense of children

(NaturalNews) In the midst of all the anti-gun hysteria following the senseless murder of 26 people - 20 of them first graders - at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., one story that is repeatedly overlooked is how often a firearm has been used to save lives and stop senseless murders.

We here at Natural News believe the mainstream media, which so often overlooks these kinds of stories because they don't fit into the statist government worldview held by the majority of news editors, has done a disservice to the public by ignoring these acts of selflessness and heroism.

With that in mind, we bring just some of the most recent high-profile incidents - including what could have been additional school massacres - that were stopped by law-abiding citizens using their Second Amendment rights to protect themselves and others. Scores of individual uses that never get reported are not included here:

No More damning testimony against gun free zones has ever been given than that of Dr. Suzanna Hupp who watched both of her parents die along with more than 20 others. She obeyed the law and left her gun in the car, the gunman didn't.

Notice the euro-trash anti-gun comments on the website, like those bungholes have any say in what we do here.

The reality is that no ban will ever remove the weapons from the hands of criminals or determined maniacs. The genie is out of the bottle, and there is no stuffing it back in.

All that disarming the law-abiding does is ensure the success of criminal or maniacal endeavours. That those in CT were disarmed by law at the school and thus prevented from even choosing to arm themselves to protect the children is being ignored. That was one of those "commonsense" gun laws. That the fellow who did the shooting killed his mother to obtain the firearms he used is being ignored, too (gosh, there is a law against that).

In Israel, when schoolchildren were massacred, the response was to arm the staff. It has not happened since. In the US, the response was to disarm the staff, and the slaughter continues. Which is more effective?

The answer isn't more restrictions on the law-abiding, the answer is the repeal of the more stupid ones.

Skewing the rules in favor of the evil doers does no good.

Well, I would have posted those comments there, but I refuse to "facebook". Anyone who does may post them if they wish.

A few days after the tragic Sandy Hook school murders, a young Marine in fatigues stationed himself at the front entrance of the Nashville elementary school his two children attend. Another parent heard him admit to a reporter that he was unarmed. The other parent commented that, even though the young Marine standing guard was not armed, it made him “feel better” to know he was there.

It’s often been observed that “perception is more important than reality”. The observation is often correct. It is never MORE CORRECT than for those we’ve come to call “liberals”. I prefer “statist” but “liberal” has morphed from its classic meaning to the other end of the spectrum so I’ll stay with it.

Since these folks operate almost entirely on EMOTION and FEELING, REALITY seldom allows FACTS to intrude upon the delusional worldview they have constructed and the comfort that provides them. It is that illogical, irrational and delusional mindset that prompts many of them to continue to quest after a Utopian society. The thought that such a society can and will never be achieved in a fallen world populated with failed sinners never penetrates whatever remains of their cognitive consciousness. It’s a DANGEROUS WORLD and, as the liberals continue to “define deviancy down”, it becomes more dangerous daily.

There is another, far more sinister, level of the “liberal” call for gun control.

It was Mencken who offered that “The urge to save humanity is most often a false front for the URGE TO RULE.” He clearly had been a student of the liberal politicians of his day. Were he alive today and able to observe the likes of Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein, Obama and the rest, he’d almost certainly have used far stronger language to frame his sage observation.

To conclude, dozens of studies reveal the FACTS concerning gun control. Those FACTS are that where firearms are widely and READILY available to law-abiding citizens, CRIME GOES DOWN! The liberals who willfully ignore the FACTUAL EVIDENCE and continue to call for gun control (i.e. the DISARMING of DECENT CITIZENS, thereby denying them the ability to exercise their God-given right to self-defense) are those about whom Mencken wrote: Their goal is NOT about preserving life. It is about the hell-bent pursuit of the impossible to achieve Utopian world where all are equal but some (that’d be THEM) are MORE equal than others (that’d be US).

There are many PRO-RTKABA videos on You Tube that your often busy lives don’t allow you to find on your own. Search there for “Gun Control”, watch them – and, more importantly – SHARE THEM with the folks in your orbit.

We’re in a fight. And losing will ultimately cost us much more than our right to our guns.

Many of us want to know what the hell took the cops so long to respond, and why they didn’t stop this attack in its tracks before one person had to die. How can we ever be confident in totally disarming ourselves if the police continue to demonstrate such a lethally apathetic attitude to their phony baloney “protect and serve” ethos? What good are police in a wannabe police state if they can’t suppress even one skinny nutbag?

Besides, didn’t Biden implicitly promise us two years ago that cops would be on hand to prevent all crimes if we just gave in to the debt ceiling and spending policies of his lord and savior?

So where the hell is Biden hiding?

Israeli teachers are allowed to protect their students with firearms and prevent massacres everyday! If only we could do the same here.

They've had to do this since the Muzzies attacked an Israeli school bus back in 1970. More here about it.

Just goes to show that the problem is not “too many guns” or “too few cops”.

The problem is a lack of civil defense.

Allowing folks to carry hassle-free would take care of that.

When the Framers wrote the Constitution, they trusted We The People to do the right thing in looking out for our best interests. Not every individual, of course, but the vast majority.

Government no longer trusts us. Given half a chance, they would rip every gun out of our hands in an instant ... because we can’t be trusted with such deadly force, they say.

I disagree. We The People can and should and MUST be trusted to do what is right. Not every individual, of course, but the vast majority.
