The only legal way to get his communist vermin way on the 2nd Amendment is via a new Amendment. However, when your an affirmative action student you probably did not understand that part of the Constitution.

While I am 100% certain the founders wanted us to be armed for protection from scum and from the government (that might be redundant), I don’t for one nano second think the founders wanted porn or killing to be protected by the 1st Amendment.
Just like the first Amendment the 2nd Amendment is designed to protect us from government and the only boobs they had in mind were politicians.

The best reason for citizens to NEED assault weapons with high capacity mags is the criminal JBTs this administration will send to confiscate our weapons will be armed with assault weapons with high capacity mags.

Guess we now need a precise definition of “weapons of war.” I've always thought those types of weapons were belt-fed fully automatic weapons. Is that what Lanza used?
Not one of these proprosed 2nd-A infringments would have stopped Lanza.
l. He didn’t use an assault weapon. He used two pistols.
2. He evaded a BG check by stealing weapons.
3. There are millions of normal capacity magazines in circulation. The 1994 crime bill also would not have stopped ownership. Instead of 2 15-round magazines, he could use 3 10-round magazines. (A magazine exchange only takes a second or two).
Did y'all notice he NEVER specifically mentioned members of our elected Senate and House to be on this Alice in Wonderland commission?

They will probably spell this out in legislation as being any weapon (rifle or handheld pistol) that can accept a removable “magazine” or “cartridge”.
