Ocotillo Wind Project - Pattern Energy - Dec 19, 2012 No Wind
This was a huge California BLM land grab. Much protest by local indian tribes and local residents to no avail. The desert was horribly disturbed and raped for this hundred million dollar boondoggle. The wind is seasonal there and even after a storm has moved through these ugly things are sitting still.

It is the bottom of an old sea. The land is crap and yet with all those hiss. the use the semi flat land. Come back in 500 years and the ruts will still be there.

Not a problem. All they have to do is convert the wind ‘generators’ to wind ‘motors’ then power em’ up and make wind for another nearby wind farm.

at least no eagles or other birds are being slaughtered....I get a kick out of the environmentalists who will kill a million American eagles to prevent an ounce of CO2 from beine emitted into the atmosphere....amazing
