sentenced to life without parole for a first-time nonviolent drug offense in 1993 when he was 24 years old.

Anybody else think that's a bit too much?

Watch out! There are those on here that would gladly have the executioner handy after the 1st ‘offense’ (against Fedzilla, this is one area they allow the trampling of the Constitution).

Hard to say without the rest of the story. Could have been the result of a plea deal. Could be an overdose death in the mix.
