Well, why not. They hold the deed to our nation.
Thanks to our knuckle-dragging excuse for a Congress our nation is overgoverned to the point of creating mental disease in many of America's citizens that goes unheaded as we're wasting money and manpower doing other useless things.
It isn't too hard to understand the neanderthal carrying the biggest stick, not wanting anyone else to have a stick. To forcibly strip anyone of their ability to defend themselves is treasonous indeed.
Every time these atrocities happen, firearm and ammunition sales and concealed carry permits soar, and Gov opening its mouth only dumps a tanker load of fuel on the fire. Thank goodness for the sanity of responsible citizens pushing back against the insanity.
They want to remove “A rifle behind every blade of grass”. Well FU little chicom pukes.

One word, “Norenco”, they are still exporting small arms to us.
Are they going to institute knife control?
It makes the point much better than we have been able to:
When your enemy wants to make sure private citizens don't have access to assault weapons...
... it couldn't make the point any STRONGER that private citizens do NEED access to assault weapons.
They want to remove A rifle behind every blade of grass.
Bingo!
Ding, ding, ding, ding!
We have a winner...
Understand the Chinese desires....after all...when we need to give them California to pay off our debt....they want as little as resistance as possible....
Am deeply, deeply impressed with my recently acquired little Norenco “non-assualt” SKS folder, a truly indestructible, low-tech, simple and functional thing-of-beauty that should outlast every more fancy weapon by centuries.
Thanks China! I’ll give you a demo when you come for it.
Thank you Jack... Merry Christams.

Thank you Jack... Merry Christmas.

When they come looking behind the ‘blade of grass’ they will find they will learn ‘bout the ‘dangers of boats’ and all the boating accidents across over nation! Epic numbers of accidents everywhere.

I've heard this theory before, but when the time-frame for evolution is so long that no one who would have hatched the plan is still alive to take advantage of the results, it becomes suspect.
Soviet agents in positions of influence in the US government worked hard to make sure Communism came to power in China - for them, at the time, that was reward enough.
That said, and in keeping with the author's point, the middle class lifestyle and consumer culture in today's China are far more similar to what we have the United States than most of the other Asian nations are - even our allies like Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. If aliens landed tomorrow, they probably would have a hard time identifying significant differences in our two countries. China is rapidly adopting our economic system, and we are rapidly adopting their official corruption.
China's "unique culture" of bureaucrats ruling over a nation of docile farmers didn't change much under Communism...but is certainly changing fast now, and becoming just like the equally quasi-capitalist United States. Chinese are free to shop on the Internet, drive minivans, and take family vacations - but they do not dare evade taxes, own guns, or support religions that don't have official government approval. Sound familiar?
F U Chinamen !
Copy that 5x5! Zippers want it, it must be bad for us.
It would be ironic if I had to shoot commie Chinese invaders with their own crap guns and ammo.
That, and they know from Tiananmen Square that anyone with a firearm is a threat. Easy to round up and disappear people if they can’t fight back.
The ‘reeducation camps’ are already here in the form of public schools and the MSM.
It also makes a totalitarian state with powerless subjects more of the norm. If we fall on this, the whole world does.
It would be ironic if I had to shoot commie Chinese invaders with their own crap guns and ammo.

Indeed it would be an irony squared.
