Gingrich: Conservatives Will Have to Accept Marriage 'Equality'

Why? The majority of states voted against it, and if this election weren't the year of the parasitic voter, there's no proof the people in those states would have accepted it, either. (Those who have it weren't given a voice. It was forced on them by people like Newt.)
Now I'm glad this guy didn't win the primaries. He's crazy.

"***Yup. Where are the newtsters now?"

Well, I was originally for Perry, and I would be again in a minute. I still think he was the best man for the job, had it not been for that terribly-timed back surgery and the medications that made him loopy during the debates. You won't see him pushing sodomites.

However, when he dropped out, I went for Newt. And I have no problem telling you, sir, that you were right.

Live and learn, I guess.

Just like we had to accept abortion in the first trimester, then on-demand abortion, then partial-birth abortion. Pretty soon we’ll have to accept out and out infanticide.

Likewise, we must accept “right to die,” “assisted suicide,” then euthanasia and finally “duty to die.”

I don’t know where “marriage equality” ends, but it sure doesn’t stop with just “gay marriage.” Normalization of Pedophilia? Beastiality? Don’t. Want. To. Know.

Newt tipped his hand almost 20 years ago, in 1995, when he cozied up to a Log Cabin Republican from Wisconsin, as I recall. Newt basically said at that point that he could accommodate gays, that there might be votes in it for the Repubs. At that point I realized he was not a man of principle but a political finger in the wind guy.

Do you think Santorum will be a good general election candidate to defeat Hillary?

And dumped his cancer-stricken wife to fornicate with a woman while he was STILL married.

Maybe he found himself another new squeeze, only this time it's a man.

A seven year old told me that she was going to marry a girl. They are brainwashing them early to accept this and think it is normal.

Correct. This was put on the statewide ballot in California not once, but twice. And both times it was soundly defeated.

Those of us who questioned the sincerity of Newt’s claimed embrace of the Catholic faith may now take a few moments to feel smug.

Go for it. When the primaries started, I looked at Bachmann, Cain, Palin, and thought what a great year this was going to be. What could go wrong? Plenty, as it turned out, so I fell in with Newt when it seemed that he was all that was left standing between us and Romney. Yeah, that worked. Newt couldn't overcome his past, and Romney ran away with it.

All we can hope for are better choices in 2016, and that America gets over its addiction to government freebies.

I think he’s an excellent candidate. I had written him off myself and was proven wrong by his tenacity. The only question for me is whether the man will run again after his shabby treatment by the GOP.

In any case, he runs again - he has my vote.

People are sorely mistaken if they believe this is due to his Catholicism. It’s not the first time Newt has demonstrated poor judgment and this criticism of him has been present - since, just about forever.

That being said, now it’s time for us to call his bishop, since he’s playing in our field now. :)

Failing to prevent is not the same as acceptance.

It appears that there is no way to prevent the State’s recognizing same sex marriage. Therefore for some purposes I may have to treat same sex couples the same as traditional married couples. But the State can never make me accept the one the moral equivalent of the other.

He is speaking what the GOP knows will be legal because they will not fight it. He knows the talk within the circle and 'the elite' as the GOP put the ONLY ONE candidate that personally married perverts.

Newt was his opponent and fought a good battle so he 'sees' how the republican voters feel - they overwhelming sided with evil Romney and believe Romney's lies/deception about Newt and the other candidate Santorum is a known 'take it for the team, The GOP. He is one of them and will betray those who vote for him every time.

So it's not rocket science for Newt to speak about what he has first hand witnessed.

Mr. Catholic speaks. Another fraud. I really do hate the “if you can’t beat em, join em” mentality.

I was just gonna say --- is this the Newt Gingrich folks were saying is a "real conservtive" --- unlike Mitt Romney?

Even the penguins and the bonobos know that when the male of the species attempts to mate with another male's anus, it's not a "sustainable" situation. I guess our beloved America going to have to crash right thrugh the floor before we realize that that self-satisfied, self-defined, self-serving sex is not the way to create really flourishing children, families, or societies.

Newt Gingrich said that conservatives will have to accept marriage equality after three more states this year voted to allow same sex marriage and more will likely do the same in the 2014 election.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Blow it out your poop chute, Mr. Married Three Times. Sorry, but you don’t get to weigh in on matters pertaining to marriage. Not from a conservative standpoint. And certainly not if you say we have to accept it.
The RINO Party might accept it. But then - they are irrelevant.
Send this around.
http://www.ionainstitute.ie/assets/files/Trad_Marriage_for-web-1+2.pdf
Preserving Marriage in a nutshell
u Every society has an interest in encouraging mothers and fathers to raise
their own children together
u Every society in history has developed the institution of marriage mainly
for that purpose
u It is this child-centred view of marriage which is enshrined in Article 16 of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights
u Abundant research shows that the family based on the marriage of a child’s biological
mother and father generally produces the best outcomes for children (See note below)
u Changing the definition of marriage to accommodate same-sex couples logically leads us
to say that being raised by their own mother and father does not matter to children or society
u It is not discrimination to treat something that is unique in a unique way, and marriage as
currently defined is uniquely pro-child
u While it is obviously true that not all married couples have children, nonetheless it is equally
true that every child has a mother and father
Note: ‘Research clearly demonstrates that family structure matters for children, and the family structure that helps the most is a family headed by two biological parents in a low conflict marriage’
– Marriage from a Child’s Perspective
(A Child Trends Research Brief. This is a summary of many studies about marriage and its effects on children)
(Research showing that children do as well when raised by same-sex couples is based on very small samples and the
samples are usually not randomly chosen)
