A California Exodus. But Where Are They Going?
Fresno KSEE 24 ^ | December 11, 2012 | By Olga Spilewsky and Conan Nolan, NBC

About 100,000 more people moved away from California in 2011 than relocated to the Golden State, according to the latest report from the U.S. Census Bureau.

In recent years, unemployment in the state has skyrocketed, while the cost of living has increased.

So, where are these Californians going? The Census Bureau calculated that the most popular destination is Texas, with 58,992 residents relocating there along with a number of California companies.

Arizona was next on the list, with 49,635 people moving, then Nevada, Washington, and Oregon.

Although in smaller numbers, others are still relocating to the Golden State. Texans make up the largest number of new California residents with 37,387 people, according to the report. That is followed by people from Washington (36,481), Nevada (36,159), Arizona (35,650), and New York (25,269).

Watch for Texas to turn blue.

The libs are fleeing the filth they dumped in their own bed in California - but they’re not learning anything.

They’re just taking their big government, high tax philosophy to a new location.

“The Census Bureau calculated that the most popular destination is Texas”

And just like rodents, a good number of them carry the disease of liberalism. TX will turn blue at a quicker rate. That’s what libs do, destroy their state and move to the next red one..

Of course, they need a new nest to foul.
All of the red states will eventually be destroyed, as
is America in general.

The libs are fleeing the filth they dumped in their own bed in California -

Classic example of crapping in your own nest to the point they can't tolerate the stench. Move on and start the process all over again ... never ending cycle for those of a liberal persuasion.

That’s like asking locusts to stop destroying every place they land. If only we could incarcerate the leftists in the hellholes they’ve created with their behavior.

I'm a former Californian who moved to AZ twenty years ago. I know many others like me, and they're all conservative too.

But I am a little worried about this new exodus. Arizona went for Romney 55% to Obama's 43%. I don't want to see those percentages turn blue.

NOTE TO ALL — FR’s HQ is California, and Jim & John are there.

Not ALL Californians are liberal. In fact, mostly the lib part is from the water to about 12 miles inland, and then it’s almost Oklahoma.

Oh goodie. Another Californians are f*&T'd thread. Yawn.

I'd wager most of the people fleeing California now weren't born there.

Oregon used to have a big billboard on the highway from California, saying “Don’t Californicate Oregon!”

(Unfortunately, that happened despite the billboard...)

One of the things I point out to others here in California, is that San Francisco used to be Republican. Then it got invaded by outsiders in the 1960's who brought liberal beliefs from elsewhere. I was born and raised in San Francisco, very few natives remain. SF had an unbroken line of Republican mayors almost from the 1906 earthquake to the mid-1960's. used to be decent, now it's crap. The coastal cities got taken over by libs. One daughter relocated to Texas, also born in SF, she's not a lib.
