So, it’s a little after 6 am on December 21st....your move Mayans!
Morning! Merry Christmas! I forgot all about the Mayan prophecy! LOL! Hey! I just heard Rose say “God is in control”! We don’t need to know more than that.
Actually, I’m more concerned about getting a cookie tray together for a co-worker in our maintenance dept who has to go over and above the call of duty in the course of doing her job. Last week she walked into one of the bathrooms and - well, I won’t go into detail. But she deserves a raise and she is divorced and working TWO maintenance jobs so no time to bake for her grandkids.

Supposedly The End comes at 6:11 or 7:11AM. Another theory is that all the Mayan style pyramids aroud the world have to be energized by the rising sun. The final one is either in Mexico or South America.
When they have all been energized they will comunicate with each other and begin the destruction.
One problem is ...what if it’s raining at one or more sites?
That’s what is happening at Maeshowe in Scotland today. The mysterious burial mound with deep chambers is a marker of the winter solstice. The setting sun lines up with an entryway to a chamber and at the time of the solstice th back wall is lit.
There are live webcams...it’s kind of a big deal. Problem is it’s pouring down rain so no show this year.

Yinz be careful driving n’@...some of the non traditional weather sites (the ones that want to become the sites the MSM uses in future) are reading the radars a tab differently (heavier snow & icing). Next week (26 thru 28) we are supposed to get walloped in the interior midAtlantic.

Hi girls! I’ve been sleeping in till 6:30 (our time) because I’ve been having a heck of a time getting through work without falling asleep. That extra hour and a half makes a difference. Today, I woke up wide awake and couldn’t stay in bed... things to do!!
No, I haven’t cleaned my snow off yet. Others have but I stayed in and decorated cookies. LOL I’ll get out there after work and do it, got places to go and my neighbor’s snow drifted into mine and fills it up. Snowblower makes short work of it, I have fun using it. We didn’t get much, though, compared to Diana in Wisconsin. They got HAMMERED! LOL

Good morning everyone! I’m at my daughter’s kindergarten show this morning......after everything that’s happened in the last week, it’s a welcome relief.
