On Monday, Alan Korwin, 2nd Amendment activist and author of Gun Laws of America, published a preliminary list of firearms and firearms accessories to be included in the yet-to-be announced, but much anticipated new version of the so-called Assault Weapons Ban.

The chief sponsor of the last ban, Sen. Diane Feinstein is said to be crafting new legislation now, which, if passed, President Obama would undoubtedly sign.

If the ban is defeated in Congress; Obama has the option of invoking “National Security” under the Patriot Act via Executive Order and instituting such a ban.
The Patriot Act was a colossal screwup that served the American people up on a platter for the anti-Constitutionalists of the Left.

Guns are very tangible unlike what federal budget debts and deficits feeeeeeeel to the average person. Guns are owned by Dims and Rs alike who will remember at the polls years later what they owned or could have owned after they get legislated out of existence and taken away for reasons unrelated to Sandy Hook. Scares the politicians more than guns.

I have a question for anyone who can help. I have a 10-mm handgun. I have not been able to find ammo for it locally for quite some time now. I am about to purchase some online, but I am not sure what to get. What is more important? Bullet weight or muzzle velocity? And does anyone have any preference to any particular brand? Does it make any difference what type of practice rounds I use? And finally, can I use .40-cal ammo instead? Several people have told me I can, but mathematically, .40-in is bigger than 10-mm.

YOU CANNOT USE .40 S&w IN A 10MM. the .40 is a shortened form of the 10mm and would be dangerous in a semi-auto chambered for the 10mm.

Buy whatever is most accurate from your firearm. IMHO.

Well, I think it’s an overreach that won’t pass in Congress. But it is just a cover so the Obama administration has cover to do things extra-constitutionally like they’ve done with other things the last four years. If there is a bright spot, precedent is being set, and perhaps the next president will do the same to the Left as Pinochet did to the commies in Chile.
