WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Twenty-eight innocent people, including 20 primary students, have been slaughtered in a mass shooting at an elementary school in the U.S. state of Connecticut. Their blood and tears demand no delay for the U.S. gun control.
The massacre has triggered a new debate on gun control in the United States. However, this time, the public feels somewhat tired and helpless.
The past six months have seen enough shooting rampages in the United States. Just three days ago, three people were shot dead at a shopping mall in Oregon. Two weeks ago, a football player shot his girlfriend dead and then committed suicide. Five months ago, 12 people were killed and 58 wounded in a shooting spree at a midnight screening of a Batman film in Colorado.
However, these are only part of the gun violence which has drawn the whole country's attention. Every time a tragedy occurs, there are renewed appeals for gun regulation. However, the calls disappointingly always fail.

Hey, ChiComs, don’t want your social commentary but a steady supply of inexpensive AK47 & 74s would be nice.
Just sayin’. . .
There are no rules or laws that can be passed that would stop a young man who might of had mental issues from stealing this parents guns....The left might look at the laws they put in place on mental health and not make it so hard on parents to get help for their kids if they want to find a solution, in my opinion
I meant “When Commies commude” I think.
Innocent blood demands the immediate banning of abortion.
3,000 innocents murders every day.
“3,000 innocents murders every day”
I can think of one day where 3,00 innocents were murdered because of a half-dozen pairs of box-cutters.
Ace Hardware, where is your culpability?
Gun Free Zones — the toxic fruit of so-called “Gun-Control”.
The denial of the rights of americans to be armed even in schools created this deadly environment.
Blame the ACLU for this release of all the crazies from confinement. An involuntary commitment for psychological observation is extremely difficult to get today, even harder than getting a concealed carry license in Washington, DC.
Plus, there is no method in place for assuring that persons who have been adjudged to be in chemical imbalance, which is correctable by medication, that they actually DO take those medications, and this in many instances requires a conservator acting in a one-on-one basis with the patient.
Connecticut had, in fact, attempted to make it somewhat easier to commit a person on an involuntary basis, only a few months ago, but this was fought furiously by ACLU, on what I understand, a pro bono basis, if such shenigans could ever be called “for good”. Which their efforts clearly were not.
ACLU probably cannot be shut down, but they CAN be exposed for the pernicious things they have done to subvert and warp the meaning of the law.
Nothing like being lectured on compassion by a country that murders newborns for the “crime” of having an older sibling.....
FU chicoms. One day you little commie bastards... one day.
China’s PLA and bipartisan free traitors are against our Second Amendment. We’re shocked (not)!
When the Chinese try to invade they will see that my AKs and ARs will give a whole new meaning to the term “Chinese takeout”.
Ive seen statistics (whether accurate or not, I cant say) to the effect that in states which have more guns there is more crime. But most famously, there are about 100 times as many guns are there are criminals in America. Which suggests that either whenever 100 people get guns one of them becomes a criminal or, just maybe, for every criminal 99 guns are bought to defend against him. Which is it, and how do you know?
