WASHINGTON (AP) — A senior administration official says President Barack Obama on Friday will nominate Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., as his next secretary of state.
Kerry’s nomination marks Obama’s first move in a sweeping overhaul of his national security team heading into a second term.

Yes, Kerry is an excellent choice for State. Foreign countries look for U.S. representatives with whom they can identify, trust and bond. Kerry feeeeels America sucks. He’s perfect for the job.
He should be asked to show his original discharge from the Navy, before it was upgraded under the Carter administration.
This battle was lost when the people of Mass put this traitor in office.
Is there any other example which better illustrates that we have a president who doesn’t share any American values.
He is just what Obama needs as leader of the international UN gun-grabbing cabal. We must fully understand that America is now ruled by the majority of the stupid. The lowest common denominator is in charge. What was formerly mayoral corruption in the inner-cities has now spread across all federal agencies and into the international comminity.
Just as Nixon years ago called up the "silent majority" Obama has created a coalition of smear-meisters, chiselers, fellow travelers, free-love abortionists, union skull breakers, college pukes, motor-voters, and hypocritical liberals.
But Kerry's nomination will fail even though he is a good mathch for the Obama team.
The republican president in 2008 would have had both house of Congress, no Obamacare, no multi-trillion dollar short-falls, no fiscal cliff, be in the middle of a big recovery. Iran may have been free of the Mullahs, Egypt not under the thumb of Islamists and Syria free.
So the Mayans were right... Bye bye USA.
Kerry may be a fascist, but at least he is not an islamofascist.
