Eric Cantor plays loyal lieutenant to Boehner
Washington Post ^ | 12/18/12 | Rosalind S. Helderman,

In a breach of bedrock conservative principles, House Speaker John A. Boehner laid out a proposal Tuesday to allow tax rates to rise for Americans making more than $1 million a year.

And standing side by side with Boehner as he outlined what many Republicans consider an apostasy — but what Boehner argues is the only way to spare most people from a tax increase — was House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, who has worked hard in recent months to play the loyal lieutenant.

When Obama disbands the Czats/DOE/TSA/Dept of Energy, Dept if interior, EPA

Oh, boy.

So your solution is that the House should de-fund everything because that is constitutional... meaning our military would be without funding, many elderly would be out on the street, many dying would be taken off Gov't funded life support systems, the unemployed and those receiving food stamps would immediately go hungry, mail service would stop, all Federal contracting employees would receive no pay, etc. etc. etc. (not that I don't want many of these these same things long term but you want them immediately full-stop).

So you think because of this Obama would immediatly kowtow and disband full departments and cut off EBT money?

I see what kind of person I am talking to. One who really doesn't have a clue what kind of increased power toward tyranny this would give Obama, the MSM and the Dems and the veering further away from the Constitution which would result.

Bye-bye. You are clearly a person who is one of the "dreamy" types; reason doesn't seem to be part of your nature.

I’ll sum it up.

I, What’s up, cannot answer the clearly stated and legitimate question. Because there is no way I can spin it. So I’ll type a bunch of nonsense and hope nobody notices. Later, I’ll pop up on another thread and repeat all my BS all over again.”

You really think Obama is going to come kowtowing if you cut off all federal funding immediately.

Now, that's what I call a huge bunch of nonsense.

Sequestration means $100b in tax hikes and $100b in spending cuts, and a $1.2T increase in the debt limit. It’s not such a bad compromise, given that neither side is in a mood for any kind of legislative horse-trading. Ultimately, if taxes are going to be raised, they should be raised on the entire income-earning population, so that the people paying in bear in full the cost of their decisions at the polls.

Please repost the proof the Congress lacks constitutional authority to do it. I must have missed it. Unless you just flat out LIED saying you answered my question.

Repost it. Point me to the text. Something. Anything.

It’s your credibility. Back it up or lose it.

I didn't post any proof, Dreamy. You're imagining things bigtime. It appears you have your head in the clouds. No surprise.

I fully agree with you. Let more of the 47% start to pay up.. No more free rides. Cancel the “earned Income credit” too.

And just which post "proved" I lied?

No, there's no lie. Unless I don't know which question you're talking about.

Do YOU even know what you're talking about?

You think you will have Obama kowtowing and closing departments because of your "plan". No wonder you have no idea what you're talking about.

Again, show me the answer to my question. Tell me how Congress does not posess the constitutional power of the purse.

Please show me your answer. I want to see it. I will gladly apologize when you show me where you answered that congress either does or does not have the legal and constitutional authority to stop financing Obama’s departments of bullshit, foreign aid and EBT fraud.

If you cant, as I said, shut up and sit down. Because you will have clearly and demonstratively lied.

That simple.

Tell me how Congress does not posess the constitutional power of the purse.

And who said they didn't?

I see your beef, Dreamy. You missed it:

because that is constitutional

See...you miss things because you're so caught up in your own views. You need to get out of the clouds and get your feet on earth and help to come up with a WORKABLE plan and none of this fairy-dust "Obama will kowtow" business.

Here is the full post again.

The man who ran around FR assuring Bhoner was not caving and now defends the caving wants “facts”

The Brrass is highly polished on this one.

No. Not keep them the same. Cut them.

You do it by going to Obama, refusing to authorixe one cent for ANYTHING. Shut it down via the constitutional power of congress RE spending.

When Obama disbands the Czats/DOE/TSA/Dept of Energy, Dept if interior, EPA and stops sending billions to terrorist countries along with fraudulent EBT bullshit, turn the spigot back on.

Thats how. Now you PROVE to us that the resulting multi trillion dollar spending cut does not mean the need for less taxes.

Is there ANY reason Congress cannot LEGALLY AND CONSTITUTIONALLY do that?

No ducks, no dodge, no whining about political realities and other BS excuses. Give me a constitutional reason or sit down and shut up.

Ping me when you answer it. Because you proved you can’t deal with reality. I’m tired of playing games with a sycophant.

For some reason you think your posts are special enough to post again and again and again.

How about saying what it is you're trying to say instead of parroting yourself again.
