Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyoncé Knowles are among celebrities campaigning for gun regulation in the wake of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary.
The stars feature in a new public service announcement against gun violence for Demand a Plan after 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 20 children and six adults before turning the gun on himself at the Connecticut school last Friday. The one-and-a-half minute clip features the celebrity activists asking: 'How many more colleges? How many more classrooms? How many more movie theatres? How many more houses of faith?' before lawmakers tighten regulations.
A cast of artists and entertainers, including Michelle Williams, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Ellen DeGeneres, Julianne Moore, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Olivia Munn, Selena Gomez, Paul Rudd, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman, Amy Poehler, Adam Scott, Rashida Jones, John Slattery, Jeremy Renner, Conan O’Brien, and others, have feature in the PSA released Friday on DemandaPlan.org.
The effort, a campaign from Mayors Against Illegal Guns, comes a week after the horrific massacre in Newtown and amid polarising debate rippling through the U.S. about gun violence and the Second Amendment.

UK passed new gun laws after a school shooting, and public outrage. Seem like a community organizing effort to Push the US into similar laws.

Id have been a lot happier if the NRA had called for members to pull their kids out of public school combined with a state by state campaign to allow local solutions to every individual district.

But before he became a national political figure, he sat on the board of a Chicago-based foundation that doled out at least nine grants totaling nearly $2.7 million to groups that advocated the opposite positions.
Obama’s eight years on the board of the Joyce Foundation, which paid him more than $70,000 in directors fees, do not in any way conflict with his campaign-trail support for the rights of gun owners, Ben LaBolt, a spokesman for Obama’s presidential campaign, asserted in a statement issued to Politico this week.
Let me guess, most, if not all of these celebrities use armed security at some point for their safety. Whey they publicly state that thy will never use armed security again, no mater what the conditions and call 911 if a situation arises, then I’ll listen. They never will. Just more of do as I say, not as I do.

A list of films, music etc acted in or sung by the above named “celebrities” that glorify guns, criminal culture, and/or senseless violence would be enlightening. Any applicable booking photos would be a plus.
Interesting...they have also had an open border policy. We are being pushed in the same direction.
