President Obama this morning issued a video response to a White House petition demanding more gun control – specifically mentioning America’s gun culture.

“If we work harder to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people, there would be fewer atrocities like the one in Newtown — or any of the lesser-known tragedies that visit small towns and big cities all across America every day,” Obama concluded.

Obama can do whatever he wants at this point, I can care less. As long as he allows people to still exit the country freely, that’s all that matters to me.
What's more, they have chosen to go after the weapons used least to commit those 8,583 gun murders, assault rifles which account for less than 2% of all the gun violence in this country. How can we have a conversation about reducing gun violence with people who are so obviously not interested in reducing gun violence? We can't.
Progressives will endeavor to keep guns in the hands of their supporters and eliminate them from the hands of their enemies.
