That was the first thing I noticed...How disrespectful.
Title this: Obama makes up a new career story.

If America was divided by the last election, this one is even more divisive.

This was my initial thought. We were given the “I was raised by a poor single mother who struggled to put food on the table” routine. Now we hear about a month long trip to the mainland, three adults, two chidren, flying by jet and sightseeing all over the US. Which is it Barack, privileged or poor?

In the short 1,600 word speech, Obama used the word "my" 21 times, "me" 12 times, and "I" 30 times. And he said "we" 11 times.

Yeah well he still isn’t talking about how he got to college, who paid for it and was he a foreign student.
He didn’t say who paid for his Pakistani trip with his Homo room mate either.

Sadly, Dems have a long history now of using the sorrow and misery of death as a political rally. Hate, terror and sadness feed the political zeal of leftists.

Very much like the feces Billyboy Clinton used to smear on the walls when making up stories about his own youth.

There is a cure for such malignant narcisism; a mental institution. To save money, they have mostly been closed down for a couple of decades.

Inouye? He was a bit of a nut case. Had psychological problems earlier on.
He sat on the Senate panel questioning LTC North after the Contra Affair. Apparently he took some sort of offense that North appeared (appropriately) in full uniform. Ollie North had medals up to his shoulder blade. Well, Inouye for some obscure reason showed up the next day in civilian clothing, but with all of his medals from WWII pinned to his business suit.
No, Inouye wasn't all there, used to be nicknamed "InNoWay,"
To: Nepeta
Even though Inouye's politics were not mine, he was a much bigger man than the Empty Suit -- he was an adult, which the Empty Suit will never be, and he dealt with far greater issues of prejudice and unfair treatment, and he did not WHINE.
And with only one arm, but that one missing arm was more of a man than the Empty Suit could ever dream of being.
