True critical thinking, not the anti thought that the schools are calling critical thinking.

The example I use is global warming. When I'm told that the earth is hotter than normal I have a whole string of questions they can't answer. What is normal? How was it determined? What was the time scale of the readings? How and where were the readings collected? How many data points were collected?
