What the republicans and their supporters don't understand is that Obama is playing them as if they are opponents in a "playground basketball game" where intimidation, trash talking, humiliation, and below the belt blows are the predominant rap of the winning team
Nothing better demonstrates this simple analysis than the following quote:

Sarah Palin is a Hero—so too Newt Gingrich, Rand Paul is one—when the time comes there will be right thinking Republicans come forward! BUT Until that time we must re-form the Tea Party to tackle the elections of 2014 & 2016. We need good conservatives in the state houses, congress and senate, the counties, the school boards, mayors and councilmen (and councilwomen). We may have lost the battle—but not the war! Its Like Chancellorsville in the Civil War—its not Gettysburg and it sure isn’t Appomattox. Lots more fighting to do—and the victory is in no way determined.
The Republican Party leadership treats conservatives as though they were a faction, and no longer the driving intellectual and moral force behind the GOP. Until that changes, Democrats will dominate. If conservatives are to retake the Republican Party, the first step is readily apparent. Boehner, et al. must go.
That said, “our” side is for sending American jobs overseas?

It seems to me that Obama wants to force us to shut the government down by refusing to lift the debt ceiling.
I wonder if he thinks that he will then use an executive order to continue government operations and override the congress. The supreme court will be overridden also as necessary for the good of the country.
He can then dispense with the annoying separation of powers theories.
That isn't a check you all send to the IRS in April.
