Of course he would have!

OK Ill give you the fact that in the corporate legal sense they are separate entities. But the ‘soul’ of the state parties is held in the iron grip of the RNC.

What happens exactly when the stare of MassiYorkIsland says to the RNC, On candidate X or topic Y, we’re going our own way and our way is in direct conflict to what you want us to do”?

What happens is that an amount of money stops going to that state, people at the top of the state party get a lot of pressure heavy calls that ‘encourage compliance’ and other arm twisting tactics.

Should noncompliance continue, the screws get tightened. Should it further continue, the RNC ACTIVELY starts disrupting and campaigning against the State’s party/pols and RESIDENTS through non-actions on pending legislation.

THAT is how party politics works. In one situation it’s good. In another it’s pure evil. But it is the core essence of what party politics is.

We are now in a situation that the RNC/GOP leadership is fully liberal. They have set the chainsaw against the individual branches to the point they cut off a candidate with a 90ish ACU score that ended up losing him the election and themselves power.

That is the behavior of an out of control org from the top down. The states could not reign Reeses Pieces in. NOT ONE NAME GOP LEADER TRIED FROM WITHIN THE PARTY.

Lip service at best from powerless drones.

No, the states get one way communication. Top down. Thus they are ruled and thus owned. And all slaves of the GOP.

So since we condemn blacks for staying on a lib plantation, perhaps we should take our own advice and snap the collar.

Or remain every bit the political slaves blacks are on the liberal plantation.

you really need to keep the Jeffersonian name ~ he was quite far sighted ~ Democratic Republican or Republican Democrat ~ his core party ended up with Democrat. We end up with Republican.

could make it like Tom’s original Republican Party...or Original Tom’s Republican Party...or Famous Original Tom’s Republican Party...or just The Famous Tom’s Republican Party...

...or Republican Pizza or whatever.

Current death rates for children being murdred in Chicago ~ easy to find. Then, for Newtown you have to go all the way back to the Pequod war to find any serious note of mass murder ~ an easy history item.

Not everything is a link away ~ sometimes you have to think.

BTW, 'Newtown' is really a very old New England town! New in its day, it's 370 years later ~ and in all that while there was only one event like this. Chicago, on the other hand, currently has a lower than average mass murder operation going on ~ still gives them one of the top murder rates in America ~ particularly for chillun'. I am using the number 404 for dead chillun' in 2012. After suitable FBI review that may go up, or it may go down, but 404 is a good 20X 20 ~and this has been going on since the 1850s.

more likely the Dems will lose than gain seats in 2014. it's another midterm and they don't vote as heavily as do Republicans.

Here's a thought ~ assume Democrats weren't the only folks cheating in Florida ~ then quit purging voter registration rolls for a couple of years.

After much thought on the matter I've decided that when we purge those rolls in states where we control the state legislature we end up purging mostly dead or moved Republicans. The states where we don't control things don't purge ~ they keep their dead folks around for later use at the polls.

We should quit slashing OUR WRISTS ~

Excuse ~ 39 in 2 months, is about 234 a year ~ with a total shooting deathrate of something like 460 to 480 ~ had to check the spreadsheet.

This seems to be acceptable to Obama.

I don’t know. Look at Florida. Gov. Scott only beat that pinko Sink by 1% in the 2010 TEA landslide. FL is trending blue and the GOP is in trouble here at the state/national level. Without FL’s electoral votes the path to the WH gets very tough for the GOP.

IF the GOP is not a credible opposition and alternative to hardcore marxism they won’t control the House. It’s that simple. More of the same = more victories for the kenyan = Speaker Pelosi.

Nobody, conservative or liberal, will want to vote for these GOP losers come 2014 if they don’t get their act together.

Change your mind about who is voting for a minute. Assume people change their political minds only over a long period of time ~ that almost no one sits down at election time and weighs the pros and cons of the competing ideas, and the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates ~ instead, they go in and, unless something really major happens, they vote party line!

The way you win elections under that condition is you get people inclined to your party registered, and then you make sure they get out to vote.

Campaigns are actually rah-rah sessions to stir up your own troops. If you fail to stir them, they'll stay home rather than vote for anyone. Always something going on at home that's more entertaining that voting.

Back in 2006 we lost the mid-term simply because it looked like homosexuals were taking over the Republican party.

Republicans won't knowingly vote for homosexual or homosexual dominated politicians. Democrats usually don't care one way or the other ~ but that one factor explains 2006.

By 2010 the Democrats suffered an epochal defeat simply because none of them saw any reason to go vote for Democrats for state legislatures, or Congress, or the Senate, or anything. They had Obama and he seemed to be fulfilling his campaign promises ~ we know he wasn't really, but Democrats must always be assumed to be thuggish ~ kind of like how we must always assume Republican party leadership elites to be STUPID. Some things just are ~ and without big time events ~ those are the things that control elections.

I've suggested the Republicans in Florida cease purging voter rolls. I think they've been nailing Republican voters to a greater extent than Democrat voters.

under Bush, crimes committed with guns were prosecuted...as in ‘did a felon have a gun illegally’ and all other federal gun laws that prohibit their illegal use.

zer0bama and Holder stopped this practice immediately after taking office....then the crime rate SOARED and 0bozo blamed, you guessed it, GUNS.

the current regime, needs to disarm you in time for its 3rd term.

There are three bodies that raise funds at the top of the party ~ they are the RNC Presidential, RNC House and RNC Senate campaign committees ~ they may operate under a number of names ~ e.g. Democrats for Romney.......

Then there are the independent PACs and super PACs. They usually raise money for specific campaigns ~ and mostly to the exclusion of anybody else running. So you get a PAC raising funds for a favorite somewhere, and the other candidates have to go get their own bucks.

There's some of that makes its way down the line ~ particularly for the Senate, but less so for the House. Still, those amounts are a drop in the bucket when it comes to real campaign and advertising expenses. Romney made it worse by buying top dollar time ~ at an above average price. The money didn't go as far. Proof that somebody in his campaign didn't really want to win ~ sad to hear it really was Mitt.

For you to think that Romney was just like Obama says all I need to know. Was he a true perfect conservative, hell no. But if you didn’t think he was LIGHT YEARS away from Obama, and God forbid you didn’t vote for him, then you’re to blame for the years of darkness we are about to enter. Please tell me, with a straight face, that the Supreme Court nominees that a ROmney/Ryan ticket would give us would be the same as what we’re going to get from Obama. So you keep waiting for the perect Conservative, and we keep falling into the abyss. Makes PERFECT sense to me.

You still support Romney’s socialist ways even after the living proof of his disastrous campaign. Romney was the candidate least likely to beat Obama which was why he was selected in the first place. He ran the weakest campaign imaginable after we were told time and time again we could see his killer instinct by watching how he loved eviscerating conservatives. The libs encouraged us to just wait, imagine what Romney would do to Obama. I’m still waiting.

But Romney never was conservative, and he was marginally republican. Only his most delusional supporters can claim he ran a conservative campaign. But what did people expect, he is a socialist through and through — a liberal by lineage with a liberal mother and an Alinsky loving father. He is the man who invented Romneycare but told the world that it was a “conservative” solution and he cheered while Obama co-opted the idea for Obamacare. The reason he did not run against Obama’s most hated policy was that he could never effectively contrast his own similar Romneycare which completely removed that as a weapon from his arsenal. He instituted gay marriage in Massachusetts which Obama finally came to support and he agreed with gays in the military which Obama put into effect. He made sure everyone knew that he and Obama shared foreign affairs views and he did not even use the fiasco in Libya when Obama was on the ropes.

Romney decided that instead of contrasting himself, he would play up the areas of agreement he and Obama held. He spoke about how much he liked Obama as a person ignoring how much damage Obama’s policies were doing to this country. People were suffering. People are still suffering. But no one in Romney’s campaign decided to address what was actually going on. He would much rather look down his nose at the evil conservatives than run against the marxist destroying our country. You can’t defeat the champ without throwing a punch and a draw always goes to the champion. Romney did no real damage to Obama. He did not make a case for why he would be the better president or even why Obama was so bad. With no real encouragement to change to the new person, the uninformed stuck with Obama. But Obama still lost millions of voters. Given the state of the economy, the extent of our loss of freedoms and Obama’s hatred of the Constitution, the win should have been easy. A Fabian socialist like Romney may differ from a Marxist socialist like Obama, but in the end, they are both socialists.

Your continued support for the socialist tells me all I need to know about you.
