Mitt Romney didn't want to be president, anyway.
That's what Tagg Romney, Mitt's oldest son, told the Boston Globe for its big post-mortem on his father's failed presidential bid published on Sunday.
He wanted to be president less than anyone Ive met in my life," Tagg Romney told the paper. "He had no desire to ... run. If he could have found someone else to take his place ... he would have been ecstatic to step aside.

Remember when Benghazi happened? Mitt only made a statement well after Sarah Palin skewered Obama and the lack of response from Obama. Then Romeny went with the “me too” type of response to get some street cred with the conservatives.
This is exactly why these guys are called 'the stupid party' ~ they replaced the winningest RNC Chairman in a century (whether you like him or not, his technique seems to have been the right one to win) with this loser Preibus, and then he manipulated the donors, et al, to put the loser Romney out there as our main squeeze candidate.
I'm surprised we got a single Senator into office this election.
I advised everyone I could who found himself backing Romney that a vote for Romney was just a vote for Obama ~ and it was!
It this is true, I wish he would have dropped out of the race. This was a piss poor time to sit out an election in fear of winning. America REALLY needed to win this one. The future of the country depended on Americans pulling this one out. Now look where we’re at. Our problems have doubled and the country’s future is looking pretty dang bleak.
Tagg is the Romney which said he wanted to punch out obama after the second debate, in an televised interview. That is something many of us want to do. Well, it forced him into an apology with a-hole obama, further embarassing Romney.
I have no problem stepping up and admitting my mistake. I also will say I did not back Mitt til the candidates I wanted had been removed from the race. I was definitely an ABO. I don’t know what else I could have done. So, have at me.

let’s do what we always do now..play along into the liberal presses plan ad trash our own. The truth is that Mitt Romney was a fine man, he ran a fine campaign. No Republican candidate could have won..and will not win unless we let it all fall down on Obama’s watch.. Walk away. Let everyone see what Liberal poilcies beget. There is NOTHING more Mitt Romney or any Republican could have done.
There's really no reason for any Republican to ever talk to any of these pukes. They'll simply spin whatever is said to trash the Republicans.

inbred polygamist families are like that ~
So, Norm - did you just sit this one out?
He had no desire to ... run. If he could have found someone else to
Well, you can’t just trust what sore looser suporters says afterward, it’s just souer grapes anyway
Nope, Not going to. Anyone that can admit they were wrong is OK with me.
The ones that can’t are the problem.
Purge the GOP-e whatever it takes! America is worth saving ~ they aren't.
nonsense ~ this was a Conservative year and we ran an idiot.
Thanks, mitten. Nice job on my behalf and the future of America.
Now, where are the legions of his fans to rally to his defense and pick up after him? Y’all got some ‘splainin to do.
It appears that Mitt Romney has an idiot for son.
And in hindsight, there is no reason for anyone with a conservative bone in their body to defend or remain a Republican after what they just did.
That is a great big Bravo Sierra....poor lil rich kid did not get the yacht he wanted for Christmas so he figured he would trash daddy.
Going back to my crosswords now......
Nope. I voted. Got the sticker and everything. And since AZ went for Romney, who I voted for does not matter a whit.
