On CBSs Face The Nation this week, host Bob Schieffer asked Ben Affleck point blank, Have you ever thought about running for public office? Although he attempted to deflect the question by noting the state of Massachusetts currently has two extraordinary Senators, he ended up saying, well, one never knows.
Schieffer noted there might be a vacancy for him soon, with Senator John Kerry being tapped to be President Obamas next Secretary of State. Affleck said, Im not one to get into conjecture, but then said, I like to be involved.

This same CBS has basically ignored Tim Scott.
Got bias?

Ben Affleck is an expert in nothing. But old fart Schieffer pants after him like a dog. Pathetic.

A fake Indian and a person who make a living in being fake. Perfect for Massachusetts.

Oh gee, another brain dead left wing liberal. Hey Ben, don’t quit your day job.

Does he live in Mass or does he just have a house there. Cruelty to animals should be his middle name.

“well, one never knows” seems to describe his mental acuity perfectly!
To: SoFloFreeper
He isn’t a politician by trade. No background in civil affairs of the country. So why was he on a major network show?
There would be no reason to have him on a Sunday show with their large audience if he weren’t running and had the CBS seal of approval.
