Remember when Felix would sign his notes to Oscar "FU"?

They were in an argument and it comes out the "Felix Unger" was "FU".

All that time, Oscar thought Felix meant "**** you" !

He could play comic and tragic roles; excellent at both.

He was in at least two more "Twilight Zones." In one he was the father of a young soldier in Vietnam who got to visit his son's younger self. He gave his life in place of his wounded son in Vietnam.

And he was in an hour-long space exploration episode.

"Jack Klugman was a great actor, one of that handful of actors who made anything they were in better just because they were in it."

Absolutely!

I never saw the space exploration but I vaguely remember the Vietnam episode. BTW, SyFy usually runs a marathon of Twilght Zone episodes, beginning New Year’s Eve. I’m looking forward to that!

Won’t anybody else here admit that they thought he had already died at least 10 years ago?

He was referring to the 1957 version starring Jack Klugman. The three you mention are still here from the 1997 version.

I believe that was the one where they kept trying to land on the planet even though they were all dead.

I believe you are correct. It was one of the hour-long episodes, IIRC.

In the following quote, imagine in your mind’s ear that the speaker stretches out the first syllable of the next to the last word just a bit.

Secondary character offers Quincy an implausible explanation.

Quincy: “Don’t give me that shhhameless accusation!”

I always loved how the tough-as-nails LAPD cops would lose it when Quincy pulled back the sheet.
