U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon approved new rates that all U.N. members pay for the regular budget. $5.4 billion.
China, Russia, Brazil and other countries with growing economies will have to pay an increased share, European Union contributions will drop, the U.S. ceiling will not. (@ 22 percent).
U.S. deputy ambassador Joseph Torsella said the United States "is pleased."

The UN supplies employment for corrupt third world bureaucrats. They pay them big bucks, enormous benefits..(like full college tuition at the best schools for their numerous kids) and then unlimited expense accounts no receipts required.

The UN General Assembly’ during the 2012 session, passed 26 resolutions condemning the actions of a particular country.
Syria, Iran, North Korea and Burma were condemned only once.
Israel was 22 times (85% of resolutions).
The General Assembly of the UN is interested in the “palestinians” in the precise extent that it allows it to condemn the State of Israel.
