A shooting at a VIP nightclub in an upscale Seattle suburb left one man dead and hundreds of parties - including reality star Aubrey O'Day and most of the Seattle Seahawks team - diving for cover.
Police say a 19-year-old smuggled a handgun into the Munchbar club in Bellevue, Washington, and opened fire about 1am on Monday - killing a 30-year-old man and shooting a second man in the hand.
The suspect, Ja'mari Jones, is on the run and considered armed and dangerous.

Disgusting.
“Jones was sentenced to less than a year in juvenile detention on a first-degree manslaughter charge in that case.”

SEATTLE - Three teens who beat to death Ed McMichael, better known as the “Tuba Man,” were sentenced to 15-36 weeks in juvenile detention on Wednesday.
Kenneth Kelly, 15, Billy Chambers, 16, and Ja’Mari Jones, 16, will be given credit for the roughly 24 weeks they’ve already spent in custody.
The teens pleaded guilty April 3 to first-degree manslaughter in King County Juvenile Court. Because they are not legally adults, none could face a sentence longer than 72 weeks in juvenile detention.
Chambers and Jones were also sentenced to 36 weeks in detention for an unrelated robbery, and the two sentences were ordered to run

I wonder if this punk has some “wanna-be” dream to be connected with the Seahawks. The “tuba man” was an icon at the stadiums on game days. From the web:
To sports fans across Seattle, Ed McMichael was an icon a gentle giant whose tuba sounds outside area ball parks rang consistent, regardless of the action inside.
What fans may not have known about the Tuba Man was that for 10 years he was principal tubist with the Bellevue Philharmonic and played with the Cascade Symphony, before growing bored with orchestras and hitting the streets....
“He didn’t really want to be popular. Yet everything he did drew that out. It’s amazing thinking back at all the names people called him: ‘Crazy. Weird. Gentle giant.’ Everyone had an opinion about him.”
For 20 years, Ed McMichael was a fixture at Mariners, Sonics and Seahawks games and around Seattle Center trading his talent for spare change.
Round of applause for the 4:00 a.m. wit!
How about it being against the law for 19 year old, convicted felons to carry handguns in that club?
Probably a 9mm semi-automatic assaultpistolriflegun.
The Tuba-Man was obviously less important to Seattle than these fine “yutes”. Why, one of them could become a brain surgeon someday!
But, but 19 year olds aren’t allowed to own handguns!!
Hey, wait a minute! How come the police didn’t stop him?!? I thought they were supposed to protect us?? Don’t they have police in Seattle??
How many sons does 0 have? Note to the ones who attend these meetings:
Be sure to have Skittles on hand to feed the perp!
I think they were on break. It’s a union thing. Can’t get good help anymore. Maybe when they find the killer, he’ll want a job.
