Two years ago our tour of Israel included sifting through that Temple Mount debris. Why the Israelis continue to let the Muslims control it is beyond me.

Time for the Joosh to be doin’ some house cleanin’ on the upper deck. (I’ll sift, but I’d rather help with the upstairs project.)

From your Reply #1 above . . . “and allowing them to be removed and chopped up for Arab Barbeques, according to article previously threaded...”

But there’s this article saying it’s not true, from The Temple Mount Sifting Project - August 11, 2012

“Regarding the Reports about Ancient Wooden Beams being Burnt in the Temple Mount”

Earlier this week there were some reports in the media about Arabs burning “First Temple Cedars of Lebanon.”

These reports were based more on assumptions than facts. The facts are that the stack of wooden beams that was lying on the ground in the courtyard of the Golden Gate for the past few years was removed last Sunday to a new location. Meanwhile, nearby there was a fire burning in a large barrel (see video below). Some reports accused the Moslem Waqf of burning these beams in the barrel.

In reality, none of the beams were burned, but they were all removed to a new location where they are now covered to protect them from the rain. This is something that the IAA and the Jordanian officials were demanding from the Waqf in recent years.

Antiquities Damage on the Temple Mount in the Year 2010-2012

Dec 25, 2012

“Following is a report we published on Sunday this week. Since then new earthworks activity began in the Eastern debris heaps in the Temple Mount, which was covered by Israeli media news reports. We will publish a detailed report about these activities soon in this blog.”

It was actually the most boring part of the tour, also the most infuriating when I thought about why we were doing it. The Muslims should be thrown off the Temple Mount.

I realize that there are some internal Jewish political problems with the Israelis taking over the Temple Mount. Orthodox observant Jews won’t go on it for fear that they might inadvertently step on the space that used to house the Holy of Holies.

What was YOUR favorite part of your tour? I really did enjoy the sifting, although I was also angry at the deliberate desecration of the artifacts. Made me want to carpet-bomb that big square thing in Mecca, for example.

Favorite part? Hard to say. It was a spectacular trip in total. Ours was a Hannukah tour lead by our Rabbi. We all broght our own menorahs and lit them every night where ever we were staying along with everyone else that was staying there.

Good afternoon.

What does Islam not destroy?

You're right, this is a dog bites man story.

However, it's time to end all arab/muslim control of anything in Israel and the West Bank.

You could knock me over with a feather. The Waqf and pals actually listening to the IAA! I stand corrected. That is truly man-bites-dog, though.

Well, there are many things that I only know about now because of articles that folks have posted here, so thank you for posting!

It is my hobby to do a bit of searching on interesting topics that I see here. If I find additional relevant information I’ll post it on the thread. So I saw “Temple Mount Sifting Project” in one of the photos in Reply #10, did a search, voilà.
