"Meet The Press" host David Gregory is under investigation by Washington D.C. police after he brandished what appeared to be a 30-round magazine during Sunday morning's program, according to various published reports. District of Columbia laws prohibit the possession of a large-capacity ammunition device that holds more than 10 rounds. Police told CNN they were still trying to determine whether Gregory was holding a prop or a real magazine.

or a republican.
When it comes to gun control, Washington DC is no different than Mexico.
It’s no problem, his intentions were good, it was for the children.
I didn't see the original airing. Did Gregory state it was a hi-cap AR mag?
BTW, you can bet this mag has already left D.C.
On the street, maybe - but not when posing as a journalist.
Police told CNN they were still trying to determine whether Gregory was holding a prop or a real magazine.
Out and Out BULLS$$T, it is the DEFENDANTS responsibility to prove it WAS A PROP IN A COURT OF LAW in front of a JURY. NOT THE POLICE.
The Jack Booted thug that made this statement should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY then be brought up on charges of Misprison of a Felony as well as Conspiracy . Re there any Freepers that live in DC that go and file a FORMAL CITIZENS ARREST? Cuz that is all it takes to force the issue, all the inquiries,notifications,speech... is MEANINGLESS, A CITIZENS ARREST will FORCE THE ISSUE.
In the same swiftness of adjudication and determination.
Call his wife, and apply the sentence.
Oh, but Gregory, the little p*ssified guy on Meet the Depressed will go with the smug snort of “Are you kidding?...It is I, the not particularly bright, himbo/newsdope sporting that odd greenish hair dye job...Prince of the powerful msm that pushed and pulled the “smartest guy ever” into POTUS re-election...Besides....It was just an ironic thingy, me breaking a law that would get another thrown in jail! How I laugh at you dopes on the Conservative side! Come on now! How very funny that the police think I’m just another dope subject to their laws! Besides, it’s ‘cause I’m so special that my children are at a school that would shoot to pulp a psycho coming to get them...Because...gee...my hair dye job is looking good for tonights show where I look down my rather large nose at you idiots that want to protect that silly 2nd ammendment.”
Hey Davey...you are no Cronkite. And HE WASN’T MUCH...SORRY TO BURST THAT BUBBLE.
I’m a part of a growing crowd. We understand the Constitution.
Bring it on.
“Out and Out BULLS$$T, it is the DEFENDANTS responsibility to prove it WAS A PROP IN A COURT OF LAW in front of a JURY.”
You got that backwards. The government must prove guilt, the defendant does not need to prove innocence.
How about I declare my TV room a gun-free zone, then could I have Gregory expelled? Heck, I could charge just about every TV station with violating my policy.
Unfortunately you are correct in your assertion, but the system has not operated like that in a very long time. You are GUILTY until you prove your innocence in almost ALL CASES IN AMERICA today. And the Government will BANKRUPT you into Submission of such.
They've obviously started down the course to IMPLY that perhaps that wasn't what it appeared to be--an AR-15 magazine. I own an AR, and that was a magazine for an AR. The police have no desire to tangle with the news media, and are trying to cut him some slack.
SO....
The news story should be reworded to read:

District of Columbia laws prohibit the possession of a large-capacity ammunition device that holds more than 10 rounds. bttt
Will David Gregory plead White Liberal Privilege as his defense? Or will he blame it on Ambien? Or Aspergers Syndrome?
