David Gregory under investigation by D.C. police

"Meet The Press" host David Gregory is under investigation by Washington D.C. police after he brandished what appeared to be a 30-round magazine during Sunday morning's program, according to various published reports. District of Columbia laws prohibit the possession of a large-capacity ammunition device that holds more than 10 rounds. Police told CNN they were still trying to determine whether Gregory was holding a prop or a real magazine.

After the enormous amount of time, energy, and hysteria the liberal propaganda machine has expended since the Connecticut shooting trying to vilify anyone with a gun or ammunition as the greatest possible threat to humanity ... we now have one of the MSM’s main liberal propagandists, David Gregory, under investigation for illegally brandishing a 30-round magazine for an assault rifle.

Which means the issue of guns and their extreme heinousness will quietly be retreating from the airwaves in order to save the reputations and potentially large legal fees of Mr. Gregory and NBC.

True confession: Many years ago, I ran afoul of the public school system for drawing pictures of guns, battles and other assorted violence. They sent me to see the school shrink and contacted my parents. My Dad was livid. He knew there was nothing wrong with me and, at worst, I was a budding John Trumbull. Nothing more. He wanted a school conference to call the educrats out.

I had a talk with Dad and told him the school shrink was a lot of fun. Instead of having to attend a certain stodgy class with a teacher I intensely disliked, I would get to spend the hour with the school shrink doing special projects.

Dad thought it rather remarkable that a 4th grader could figure out the system so quickly and let me have my way.
